I am an entrepreneur, a founder, a son, an explorer, a learner, a student, and a failure.  

Yes, I have started my journey as a failure; I failed in:  

- CA preparation
- CAT preparation 
- UPSC preparation 

After failing enough, I moved on to fail once again and pursue my journey of Entrepreneurship in 2016, 

But as they say, failing is the first step before conquering the world. 

We started Chai Sutta bar (CSB) with little investment, and in seven years, today we have 

- 550+ outlets across the globe,  
- 300+ cities, 
- 4.5 Lakh Kulhads are sold every day.  
- 1 million + community across social platforms.
- 100+ People Team. 
- 150 cr. Revenue Cumulative.

And luckily, we are Bootstrapped till now! 

All this boils down to our one dream of making an Indian F&B brand that marks its global presence and makes India proud. 

What worked for me is pure Hard Work & Jugaad because being a Bootstrapped business, that’s all you have. I have learned everything from the market and people. 

We are proud to have our Headquarters in Indore - The cleanest city in India. 

I am fortunate enough to make a difference: 

- By giving 1000+ Potters a full-time employment
- Replacing 4.5 Lakhs plastic cups consumption every day to Kulhads. 
- Millions of customers their go-to hangout place of good food and vibes.  

I am a student of ground reality, exploring and experimenting with new domains to build, innovate and scale. I look forward to building exciting brands under the parent company CSB. 

I love Cricket, business conversations, and spending quality time with friends.

Only this will matter in your 30s. 

I think our 20s and 30s are the most important when we talk about “building our lives.” 

Most of the time, we don’t realise things at the right time, and many times we are too late. 

Your 30s are the time when you are no longer a small kid, have rent and bills to pay, have bigger choices to make, and maybe you are no longer a bachelor. 

In short, your 30s are the time when you enter the “responsible” phase of your life, and then at that time, you feel about the decisions you should have made in your 20s. 

With very little experience and some knowledge, I think you should focus on these things in your 20s because they will matter in your 30s. 

→ In this time when inflation is very high and you want to live your 30s smoothly, financial planning is the most important. Start understanding your finances and do your planning, like budgeting, investing, and saving. 

→ Your 30s are not impossible, but they are very difficult if you are thinking of changing or starting a new career. It is best to figure out a stable career in your 20s so that you can focus on other important things in your 30s. 

→ Your health. It is very important, and believe me, you will best understand this in your 30s. With a poor lifestyle and environment, we are all already affecting our health slowly, and your 30s will be the time when you will feel that you don’t have the same energy as you had in your 20s. 

→ At last, your relationships and your networking will matter. Keep your personal relationships safe and your networking strong, as they both will be your biggest supporters in your 30s.

There is no such thing as a perfect leader. 

And even as a leader, you can never have all the answers. 

I think not only others but also leaders themselves think that they should always be right and perfect.  

But the truth is, leaders are also learners, and sometimes they can also not come up with the right solutions.  

A leader shouldn’t live with the responsibility of being perfect but they should be responsible for always learning and adapting. 

No leader is perfect, and it is okay.

This is the major responsibility of an entrepreneur. 

Yes, no doubt, but is it our only responsibility?

Everybody knows that creating employment, offering the best to society, and giving the best leadership are the basic roles of an entrepreneur. 

But I feel there is a lot to it. 

If you are giving jobs to people, make sure for whatever time they are working with you, their growth should be your responsibility. 

If you are offering a product or a service, make sure you give your customers the best quality.

If your business is operating in a society, make sure other than your product, you give something more to society.

On this World Entrepreneurs Day, I would say,

“As an entrepreneur, basic responsibilities ke sath sath aapko aapki personal responsibilities samjhna bahut zaroori hai.”

Being overoptimistic is dangerous in business. 

As entrepreneurs, we have to forecast about the decisions we make today.

It is good to be positive, but remember you might have to incur huge losses if you are too optimistic about the decision and the future.

Entrepreneurship is all about making calculative decisions.

Your focus should be to do more analysis and be realistic with your approaches.
