Here' s a few tips to keep it classy: 
 
👉 Inconsistency 
 - You can't build trust if you keep changing your colors, fonts & images.  
 
👉 Lack Of Personality 
- Is your writing boring AF? Probably. Put some of your personality in it! 
 
👉 Drinking the Hate-o-rade 
- Are you stalking your competitors? Stop it and focus on your customers only. 
 
👉 Picking random brand assets 
- Colors have meaning.  
- Typefaces convey emotion.  
- Images tell your customer story. 
- BE INTENTIONAL WITH YOUR CHOICES

The point is to have your ears perked for keywords. Know what to listen for that signals this person is one of two things: 
- Someone who might want your service

Everyone is a potential customer or referral partner. 
But treat them as human first, not an ATM. 
 
You never know when your seed will sprout.

How do I use my brand colors? 
 
A question I hear a lot, 
that I love answering. 
 
When you've chosen your brand colors 
or they've been delivered as part of your brand identity, you may feel ... overwhelmed 
 
I assure you, you're not alone, 
but I can help you clear the fog. 
 
Branding is all about making choices and betting on their long term results. 
 
Your primary color should be used 60 - 75% of the time you're applying color 
 
There are a few caveats: 
- Body copy should be dark or light 
- Don't overuse in headlines 
 
Your accent color should be used as a touch of personality 10 - 15% of the time. 
 
Don't use accent color for headlines. 
Don't use accent color for body copy. 
Use for graphic elements & borders. 
 
You should have a dark color for text. 
You should have a light color for dark mode. 
You should always strive for highest contrast. 
 
Make things easier to read,  
that's the idea.
