Thinking about this a lot from this weekend: I find it silly how humans can make rest, sabbaticals and quitting so complex...

Yes, there are paid days off...
You get the weekends
You can go on a trip

But have you ever thought about how an artist truly gets back to their highest potential? (I have no answer to that, maybe going down that rabbit hole this weekend)

The one line that made me go down this rabbit hole is from one of my favourite artists: "I wanna be a human, before I do some art"

Essentially, you do want to feel normal emotions that are not constantly rushed. 

Like a human! 

A rest, sabbatical, or time off where you don't have to think about the next deadline, or when to restart. 

Because, as creatives, you don't get ideas by following all the hustle culture advice. 

So how can we truly feel human again, before we do some art?
