A few years ago, I flew back home to my island and brought 15 friends from halfway around the world -- all within a pandemic. I've been living in Europe for a while that time, and everyone I met couldn't understand what an "asian island living" was. But I found myself asking: "How can I help my people be heard -- using the connections I currently have?"
