In January 2023, I tried coming back to LinkedIn after months of taking a break. When I came back, it appeared as though people were no longer interested in listening to me so I went back offline. But then I started getting messages. The people I thought had forgotten me, messaged me to ask why I wasn't back to posting yet. One of the messages I got 👇🏻 Good morning Dammy, How are you? It has been so long. Is the peace outside social media so good, that you didn't want to come back? 😉 This was from Olamide. And I got comments encouraging me to post more, one of them is from Zafar, who said👇🏻 My friend, please share content on a regular basis. You are a true gem. Then I realized how much I needed to come back. So on January 10, 2024, I came back on LinkedIn and started posting again. On January 17, I stopped posting again after realizing many of my audience were not responding to the new content I was posting. So I went back to my drawing board, fleshed out what wasn't working and expanded on what was working, and came up with a content calendar. Going forward, Mondays will be for #Makingprogess content. This is the day where we will literally butter one another up for the new week. Tuesdays are for #DIYs. What's that thing you want to learn regarding creative writing? Drop it in the comment sections and we'll look into it together. Wednesdays are break days. I'll make no post, but you can rest assured that I'll be in your comment sections making your post go far! Thursdays are #Prompt O'clock 🎉 I am most excited about this day because here's where I wow you with my amazing #creativewriting skills by writing short stories on prompts. You'll be allowed to drop prompts you want me to write on too and the most reacted comments get to become a short story! On Fridays, we let our hair down and recount the success of the week.
