Hi, I am Palak, and as a LinkedIn personal branding strategist, I help CEOs, Founders and creators build thought leadership and their personal brand on LinkedIn. Here's what I have made possible with the right strategy: - helped a founder go from 22,000 --> 1,00,000+ followers in 1 year. - helped a founder grow by 20,000 followers in <60 days. - 2,79,840+ impressions with <50k following in 7 days. - 1,32,257+ impressions with <10k following in 14 days. - 2 of my clients have a LinkedIn Blue Top Voice Badge. I’ve had the privilege to work with founders featured on Forbes, Shark Tank and 30 Under 30. I am grateful to have been recognised as the "Top 200 LinkedIn Creators in India" and to be invited as a speaker at institutions like BITS Goa to share my learnings and insights on building a brand on LinkedIn. If you are exploring ways to build your personal brand and social media presence, feel free to book a call or DM me.

I have stopped reading 40% of the posts on LinkedIn But the ones I end up reading are really good ones! The issue is a lot of these posts have become boring. You’re writing long. You’re writing vaguely. That is why people end up scrolling. So you really need to redo how you show up: → Make things easy to understand Complicated = skipped. Use short and clear sentences. → Write for one specific person Mass appeal = no appeal. Think of one reader. → Repeat what works Did a post blow up? Post a remix or a sequel of it. Even the best creators forget this. They complicate when not needed! Just remember: - Simple writing wins. - Specific stories hit. - Human tone connects. And finally, have fun with it. Don’t post just to prove something. Post because you get to. People follow perfect << real! Who do you prefer following? #personalbrand
I hate to reveal this to you But your favourite creators are not perfect! That creator who always seems to have it together? The one with perfect posts and a confident brand? Even they mess up. They just don’t always show it. I’ve realised working with creators and founders: That everyone is figuring it out. No one has it all sorted, even if it looks like they do. It’s no wonder so many people feel like impostors. What that creates is a gap between who we are And who we think we should be. And that gap is where impostor syndrome lives. The more you understand that, The easier it is to build a brand that’s actually you. Not a version of you created to impress others. So the next time you feel like everyone has it figured out, Know that the most unsuccessful people are also unsure. Ever felt the same? #personalbrand
Profile views are so creepy. I have heard so many people say this. But I feel it is honestly LinkedIn's best gift! I’ve never understood why people ignore them. That little “someone viewed your profile” is a sign. It means you’re on their radar. Don’t waste it. Most people: - Never check who viewed them - Or think it’s weird to follow up - Or don’t know how to turn it into something But let me tell you - Some of my best conversations started with: “Hey, saw you checked out my profile. Anything on your mind?” Simple and not salesy. Because real growth on LinkedIn isn’t loud. If you want to build your network without outreach, Start checking profile views and message them. That’s how you create touchpoints without trying too hard. I’d rather build a circle through genuine curiosity Than chase numbers with forced content. LinkedIn doesn’t have to be awkward. You just need to treat views like opportunities. How often do you check your profile views? #personalbrand
There are 19890+ posts on LinkedIn to go viral But nothing has helped me more than this! It has helped me reach 60k+ and I wish someone had told me this earlier. I learned this the hard way. Wrote daily, got burned out, saw no results. Then I made these small changes. --> Post 80% educational content. That’s what builds trust and authority. Break down one concept per post clearly. --> Cut the fluff. Write like you think, not like you talk. Don’t add 10 lines of backstory --> Comment like it’s your job. I still do this every day. Not just to get noticed but to connect. --> Focus on one problem per post. Take your reader from Point A --> B. Don’t confuse them. Just solve one issue. --> Post 20% storytelling content. That’s what builds connection. The best posts I’ve written were personal. These have changed my content plan. They’ll save you time and actually help you grow. If you’ve been trying something that’s working, I would love to hear them from you! #personalbrand
Freelancers aren’t free. (A little story time) My friend recently travelled across cities for a meeting. And the client confirmed it the same morning, but He then didn't show up and said, “I don’t need it.” No heads-up or any apology. Is this how you treat anyone? And this isn’t one story. We push for follow-ups and dozens of calls. Only to be ignored and treated with silence. And yet, people call us unprofessional. I’ve always believed in following up till I hear a "no". It builds confidence and shows intent. But instead of keeping anyone hanging, Just say no and that’s all! Don’t waste someone’s energy, money and hope. I am not angry at anyone but just tired. Of watching good people lose their hearts Because someone couldn’t send a one-line reply. Just so disappointing to see how casually people treat. #personalbrand
I’ve never posted how “fully booked” I am. Because booked calendars aren’t a flex anymore. Nor are revenue screenshots with blurred numbers. (We all know they can be faked in under 5 mins.) In 2 years of building on LinkedIn, I have never done any of the two! And not because I didn’t have results. But because I didn’t want to reduce them to numbers. Here’s what I believe instead: -- Give me 2 high-quality calls a month Than 20 back-to-back ones that just drain my soul. -- The best "proof" I’ve shared? A compliment that randomly lands mid-week. I’m not saying don’t show your wins. I’m just saying not all of them need to be shown. We’ve turned fake metrics into a badge of honour. When did we stop celebrating real work? Also, not being “booked” doesn't mean you're failing. Not sharing revenue doesn’t mean you're not earning. Sometimes, it just means you're focused. That’s the success I want more people to talk about. Trust me, good work finds its way to the spotlight. You don’t always have to push it there. What is real proof of work for you? #personalbrand
My client said a line that literally changed everything! We were on a call discussing updates and strategy! And then she mentioned how she believes that “If you’ve thought about it, you’ve done half the work.” At first, it sounded too easy. But now, every time I overthink, I remember her words. A few months later, I was drowning in “what ifs.” Should I take on a risky new project? Should I restructure my team? Should I change my content strategy? That one sentence came back to me. And I did all three. Because I’ve realised that Thinking is easy, Doing is where the fear begins. This one line did 3 things for me: 1. Killed my perfectionism 2. Helped me make faster decisions 3. Made me trust myself more So next time you’re stuck in overthinking, Ask - Have I already thought about this enough? Chances are, the answer is yes. Now do the other half. Just start. #personalbrand
I knew nothing before I left home! It’s been almost a year since I graduated. And honestly, nothing shaped me like moving out. Back in Kolkata, I was shy and underconfident. Always good at studies, but bad at life. Then I moved cities for college, And literally everything changed. New city and new people, But that discomfort shaped me. Suddenly, I was doing 10 things a day. Events, assignments and even side hustle! It wasn’t easy, but it built me. I learned: - No one claps for you until you do - How to deal with people in real life and - Trying > perfecting College didn’t just give me freedom. It gave me self-belief. Some days I’d grind till 1 am And be up by 5 with the same energy. That version of me? I’m proud of her. So if you're overthinking moving out, do it! You’ll meet parts of yourself you’ve never met before. Comment below your experiences if you have tried it too! #personalbrand
Cafes feel different now. I don’t remember my last “chill coffee outing.” It’s always - laptop, coffee and mind racing. Not gonna lie, That’s not how I imagined adulthood would feel. Every time I step out, I keep thinking “Shouldn’t I just stay in?” It’s cheaper, quieter and easier. But here’s what I’ve learned: Comfort doesn’t always equal clarity. And sometimes, you need new air to think better. I’ve spent hours staring at the same walls, Hoping ideas would just show up. But they rarely do when everything stays the same. Somewhere between a cafe and a busy street, My mind feels lighter and more curious. So, if you’re stuck or tired or just blank, Try changing your scene. Even if it’s just a solo coffee date. Even if it costs a bit more. Even if you’re not sure why. It might not solve everything. But it just might spark something. Btw, do you these outings more often? #personalbrand
Why did no one talk about this LinkedIn update? LinkedIn is no longer about humans But robots trying to compete with each other! And you are letting them Take over your presence completely! It’s time to stop using AI on LinkedIn. Trust me, it's hurting your personal brand. AI-written posts sound so generic. I don't even feel like reading beyond a line. In fact, I am tired of automated DM's, Shows how interested you are! Honestly, there is no shortcut to a meaningful brand. This doesn't mean I don't use them, But I follow strict rules to avoid mistakes. After all, people are here for me, And not for another AI tool So, stop acting like a robot. And please start being real. What do you think about this update? #personalbrand
LinkedIn feels weird lately. Anyone else? Two years ago, when I started, It was something else. New voices, new ideas and real stories. I looked forward to opening it every day. Now it feels just very forced. Like everyone’s selling something. Like every post is screaming for likes. Not saying I’m perfect either. My posts haven’t “performed” lately. And I’m actually okay with it. Because I never showed up for numbers. I care about saying something real. Not 5 AI-generated comments a day. Not “value bombs” that sound the same. Not building a brand that doesn’t feel like me. I’d rather post less and mean more. And show up when I have something honest to say. That’s still what this place should be about. Here’s what I’ve learned: Likes don’t build credibility. Consistency with intention does. Just don’t lose the reason you started. We need more real. Tell me, has LinkedIn changed for you too? #personalbrand
I started LinkedIn with zero plan. It was my 2nd year of college. And LinkedIn felt worth trying. Not because I saw people making 6 figures. Or because I wanted placements or fame. But because I had nothing to lose. Just “let’s see what happens.” I didn’t expect it to become such a big part of me. I didn’t expect to meet the people I did. Or learn the things I know now. I just posted. Without thinking too much. Because if I had overthought it, I would’ve never started. Or if I waited for a perfect plan, I’d still be planning. And maybe that’s what made it special. Somewhere along the way, Curiosity became consistency. And that changed everything. This is exactly why I always say Just begin without knowing what comes next. Because no one really knows anyway. We’re all figuring it out as we go. And that's okay :) #personalbrand
It is not difficult to write a post in less than 25 minutes. Without staring at the screen for hours. Or waiting for inspiration to strike. Because if you’re growing online, you can’t afford that. You need a system that doesn’t kill creativity. Here’s how I go from idea to post without losing my mind: -- Start by dumping a few thoughts. Anything recent like lient convo, lesson, or win. Pick the one that feels easiest to talk about today. -- Decide how you want to say it. Rant? Quick tip? Short story? Choose the format you naturally lean toward. -- Now write like you talk. Not how you think a “LinkedIn expert” should sound. Voice notes work great here if you’re stuck. -- Clean up the hook. Tighten the sentences. Space things out for clarity. Then hit post. Because you’ve got better things to do Than spend 3 hours getting a perfect post. Like actually building your network. Starting meaningful conversations. This isn't about going viral. It’s about showing up consistently without burning out. And no, you don’t need another idea bank. You just need a plan. What do you do to make posting easy for yourself? #personalbrand
Likes mean nothing if no one remembers you. Building a personal brand isn't just about aesthetics It’s your reputation at scale. And every entrepreneur needs this. Because your offers will change. Your audience will grow. But your name always stays. Here’s how I’ve built for several founders: --> Treat every post like a first impression Most people have no idea who you are. Use every post to reintroduce. --> Position yourself as the only not just the best Don’t aim to be better but to be different. Find your thing and talk about it relentlessly. --> Teach in every single post Short sentences and real insights. So that someone can learn from it. Focus on depth and not hype Viral posts might bring numbers. But depth brings DMs, deals and demand. The difference between a creator and a brand? One goes viral and the other gets remembered. So the next time you write a post, see Will this look good, or will this last? Because real brand building starts When you stop writing for LinkedIn, And start writing from who you are. What are you focusing on while building LinkedIn? #personalbrand
Hitting my first 10k followers was the messiest. I’ve seen more people quit at 2K, 4K, or 7K Not because they weren’t good enough. But because growth wasn’t fast enough. Here’s the truth no one tells you: Going from 0 to 10K is the hardest. You're talking to an audience that doesn’t exist yet. The results are slow and you have doubts And that makes you want to quit. 10K to 20K feels a bit easier. You start seeing patterns in what works. 20K to 30K is even smoother. You’re no longer building from scratch. But even at 25K, 35K, or 45K, growth can slow down. Sometimes, your numbers freeze for weeks. And that’s okay. Because growth isn’t a straight line. If you only see success by the numbers You’ll always feel like you’re losing. If you’re stuck in a 90-day loop That’s normal. The algorithm didn’t forget you. You’re just in the grind zone. And the only way out of it is through it. So show up even when it’s silent. Infact, especially when it’s silent. Why give up so early? #personalbrand
How is it May already?! April felt like 5 minutes and 500 emotions. Some days were chaotic. Some were so wholesome. So I thought, let’s try something new. A messy little photo dump… Because adulting is weird, but teaches so much! 1. Met THE ZAKIR KHAN in person!!!! Still processing our conversation. 2. Went on endless work dates. Because home felt a little too comfy. 3. Tried new coffee places and Loved brainstorming new ideas! 4. Tried pilates for the 1st time and Was so shy that couldn't even take a good picture. 5. Started shooting again after a long gap. Managing two platforms = brain burnout. 6. Met Sarah Sarosh IRL. She is such a gem...was a full fan-girl moment! 7. Worked from some pretty insane office views. Honestly, just made me want to daydream more. Not every day looked productive. But looking back, I’m so, so grateful. Life isn’t always put together. But sometimes, that’s exactly the beauty of it. How was April for you? Share below your best photo, would love to see it :) Ps: Should we make this a monthly thing? #personalbrand
