Thereโs a B2B Creator fever going around. Everyoneโs talking about influence, distribution, and audience-led growth. And honestly? I wanted in. I had no idea how. But 4 months after making the quiet decision to become a B2B Creator... I got my first Creator Partnership. โจ No big pivots. No outreach or media kits. No solid plans either. Just writing about SaaS onboarding, emails, and following what felt fun. And connecting with awesome people here on LinkedIn like Sabahet Amjad. ๐ซถ ๐ฌ Iโm now Mailmodoโs Creator Partner! Today, I wrote about how that happened. And I wrote it for me. To mark Motherโs Day with something that felt like mineโlike momentum, clarity, and proof that Iโm still becoming. Inside this weekโs issue of The Glimmer Code โฆ: โจ How I attracted a creator partnership without pitching ๐ง The psychology of self-signaling (and how it shaped this opportunity) ๐ The 3-step rhythm Iโve used to grow without ditching what already works ๐ฅ Why you donโt need a pivotโyou just need a clear signal Your next opportunity doesnโt always come from pitching. Fast SaaS growth feels amazing โ until your email marketing becomes your biggest liability. Hereโs what happens when you ignore email marketing while growing: ๐ช Your domain reputation tanks (emails land in spam, or you get blacklisted). ๐ช Your acquisition costs wasted (users you paid for? Gone cold). ๐ช Your list decays (inactive, fake, bounced emails stack up). ๐ช Your email costs rise, nothing comes back. ๐ช Your momentum was for vanity. And every day you delay, the hole gets deeper. Not fixing it is quietly costing you users, traction, and attention you already earned. If youโre seeing strong user sign-ups but low retention... ๐ Look at your email systems. Emails help your SaaS get sticky. P.S. Currently helping an amazing SaaS fix their email SYSTEMS because of exactly these problems. Excited for the numbers in the coming months! #SaaS #emails

A few weeks ago, I was helping a few clients find PH-based talents to help with multiple projects. I guess I got lucky because my first few calls were with super talented, professional and highly-experienced Pinoys! I'm glad to help my clients and extra proud for finding them great partners. Sharing their profiles in case you need help too: - Kurt Manapul for a mobile app project (that was problematic but he was able to turn it around) - Aiza Coronado ๐ด๐ปโโ๏ธ and CaaSocio for content-led b2b lead generation strategy - Czarina Cruz for a demanding and tricky lead generation project - Special S/O to Kelvin dela Cruz who is my go to person for any Paid Ads requirements (Thanks for referring Kurt!) Contact them for your marketing needs, highly recommended! ๐๐๐๐๐ Or send me a DM and I'll make an intro. #thanksLinkedIn #happyfriday #notsureifhashtagsarestillathing
Remember those โWhatโs Your Flirt Style?โ quizzes in glossy magazines? Yeah. I grew up on those. So now that Iโm grown up, my SaaS friend Sabahet Amjad and I made a quiz for grown-ups who design onboarding emails. This isnโt just for funโthough it is fun. Itโll show you your onboarding style (like MBTI for email people). And once you reach the end, youโll get Mailmodo templates + my TINY ASK framework for writing SaaS emails that active users + in-depth guides. Take the quiz ๐ And tell me what you got! #SaaS #emails

Donโt waste your welcome email by just sharing login details. Itโs your first real chance to connect with new users. And it sets the tone for everything that follows. Here are a few things you can do to make it count: โจ Tell a quick origin story Humans connect through stories. Sharing why your product exists helps users feel part of something. Especially if it speaks to the problem theyโre trying to solve. ๐งญ Let users self-select their path Add links that let people tell you what theyโre here for. If you arenโt set up for fancy automations, itโll help you send more relevant follow-ups. ๐ Give them one small, meaningful action Not โset up your whole workspace.โ One nudge that gets them closer to their aha moment. Check out Aiza Coronado ๐ด๐ปโโ๏ธโs TINY ASK Framework for some great examples of this! Your welcome email isnโt just a receipt. Make it intentional.
Since youโre here right nowโฆ ๐ #EmailWeekendPoll Where marketers confess their email habits.
Okay, email marketersโฆ our days are numbered! I just spoke with the humans behind an AI tool that can: โข auto-segment your audience โข personalize your campaigns โข even suggest new segments to target I thought we had at least 6 months before something like this dropped. But nope. Itโs here. Excited to use it! even if it could replace me someday. Itโs a pain to segment audiences in certain email platforms. ๐๐๐ I can think of a lot of use cases for PLG SaaS. Thoughts? Would you use something like this? #email #SaaS
As a 90s baby marketer, this is my fave AI use case: Treating it like a Buzzfeed Quiz Master. It's good for my ego. Which improves my mood. And ups my energy to breeze through my to-do listโmy AI money ROI'ed. ๐โโ๏ธ What's your most unhinged AI use case as a marketer? #AI
Iโd skip calls if I could โ but my first 1:1 call via Exit Fiveโs Matchmaking Program? So worth it. Every minute was gold. Learned about an ABM strategy that works in 2025 โ and it made me painfully aware of why my cold emails flop. (Ouch, but also... thank you.) Honestly, we need more convos like this. Less theory, more real marketing talk with people deep in the work. Big shoutout to the Exit Five team โ I got matched with someone whoโs been around since the DGMG days (just like me). ๐ฅ And if youโre doing ABM, follow and talk to Sam Hall. Seriously. Youโll thank me later. If youโre already in Exit Five and havenโt booked a match yet โ go do it. If youโre not in? Might be time! P.S. Yes, I booked a Friday night call right after a beach vacation. Yes, it was still worth it. ๐ #ABM #B2B
If you work in marketing, youโve probably said this at least once: โWait โ where did that convo go again?โ โWas it on Slack? Email? LinkedIn? WhatsApp?โ โDid I reply???โ Same. But the worst of them all??? LinkedIn DMs! Because unlike Slack or Gmail, LinkedIn doesnโt have channels. Or tags. Or schedule options. Your LinkedIn Inbox is a black hole for: ๐ซ awesome collabs ๐ซ warm leads you forgot to reply to ๐ซ ready-to-buy prospects who followed your content for months And if you do marketing, lead gen, or partnerships, you already know how much this hurts. And if your LinkedIn inbox is a mess, your pipeline probably is, too. Thatโs why Iโm so excited about this. We've invited Mitchell Tan ๐ฎ of Kondo to show us how to organize our LinkedIn inbox. Mary Jane Robido will also share how she manages lead gen convos for us and for our clients. Webinar details: ๐ May 7 ๐ 5PM Manila | 10AM UK | 2:30PM IST ๐ Register free โ 100 seats only If youโre a global marketer, consultant, or LinkedIn-heavy founder, this will help you stop ghosting opportunities you didn't mean to ghost. Stop obsessing over open rates. Heat map your email instead. ๐ I don't obsess over open rates anymore. They just tell me who peeked. I care about who clicked. And where. And why. Because click data? Thatโs behavior gold. Itโs how you reverse-engineer intent (and user action)! Did they click the hero CTA? The random hyperlink mid-body? The sneaky PS that wasnโt even styled like a CTA? That tells me: ๐ง What actually got through their mind ๐ง How deep they scroll ๐ง Whether buttons or bare-text links work better ๐ง And how different segments literally move differently And sometimes, I get a little surprised: I've seen: โ PS links outperform main CTAs โ Entire segments click on completely different things โ Text links beat buttons Click maps (especially visual ones like in Mailmodo) are ๐ฅ. Itโs like heatmapping an email. Itโs like watching your audience move through your email with a highlighter. You see what pulls users in. Unlike SendGrid where you're stuck squinting at raw link positions like itโs an excel file. So yes โ check your clicks. Not for ego. For insight. For science. For smarter emails. P.S. Iโll be hosting a SaaS onboarding webinar next week. If youโre into click psychology and activation strategy โ stay tuned. ๐ง โจ #SaaS #Emails #EmailMarketing
Some days I work late. But these 40+% CTRs make them worth it. ๐คช I spilled the tea on how I write SaaS email CTAs. And if you want an entire SaaS Onboarding Email Kit with guides, Mailmodo email templates, and handy examples... Comment "CTR". You have to go through a Buzz-feed style email quiz Sabahet Amjad and I co-created to get your hands on them... It'll be fun! #TINYASK | #SaaS | #SaaSemails
Your SaaS onboarding emails have a vibe. And it might be giving "desperate first text"... "total ghoster" (like 78% of the SaaS products I sign up for)... Or "smooth-talker, second dateโs already booked baby". According to this 1-minute BuzzFeed-style quiz by Mailmodo, I'm a Flow Builder. I map the journey, not just send emails. It also says my onboarding has intention, insight, and a growing sense of rhythm. But...I might've cheated a bit. ๐ Because I co-created this quiz with Sabahet Amjad. But give her all the credit โ she ๐ vibe ๐ coded ๐ everything ๐ using Lovable, GitHub & Netlify. Your turn! Some ideas take five years. Some just need the right teammate. The past few weeks building SaaS email guides with Sabahet didnโt feel like work at all. Our calls were fast. Async was smooth. Even when it was my birthday last week (quick 10-min chat before I ran back to the pool)...Or when my kid decided to crash the background in the photo below. ๐ Still good vibes only. And now, weโre finally ready to roll out a HELP Pack for SaaS marketers who want emails that actually move users: โก A seriously fun, interactive self-check to see where your SaaS onboarding skills really stand ๐ A battle-tested framework to help you write SaaS emails that move the needle โ๏ธ An in-depth welcome sequence guide + ready-to-plug templates Built with a little AI (hence the pic vibe), but mostly powered by years of SaaS email experience and vibe marketing. A couple of days ago, I met Anirban and we talked email. Not just write better subject lines , kind of emailโ We got into the real stuff: โ What mistakes taught me early on (yes, there was a terrifying overage bill ๐ ) โ How I helped a SaaS client grow MRR by $50K with smarter segmentation โ What email tools I use for SaaS and for my own stuff โ Why Iโm obsessed with interactive emails โ How to avoid building a list full of freebie-seekers โ The TINY ASK framework I use to write emails that move people โ How I use email to sell our own workshops, cohorts, and ideas too โ Why email still feels like the underrated ROI machine nobody talks about If you geek out on SaaS activation, lifecycle, or emails, this oneโs for you. ๐ง Watch here: https://lnkd.in/gRX2Yb4D And tell me your favorite part after ๐ #SaaS #emails
Sure, I love clicking 3 different links just to confirm my account. โ Said no new user ever. Most SaaS emails send users on a full circus ride: ๐ช Open tab โ log in โ figure out where to click โ get frustrated โ drop off What if you could let them complete tasks without leaving their inbox? Interactive emails let you do exactly that. (Check the gif below for ideas ๐) This is the โIโ in my TINY ASK Framework: Interactive. Your onboarding emails shouldnโt just teach, inform, or ask. They should move users forward. Ask them to do something simple โ like: โ Add team members ๐ Create their first presentation โ Set preferences or confirm their account Then? Link the CTA to the exact place inside your app. But the better way? Let them do the tasks inside the email! Sounds like a tech nightmare, but Mailmodo makes this ridiculously easy. Their onboarding templates come with interactive forms built right in. Use it to: โ Collect user preferences โ Gather feedback on early experience โ Confirm account details or subscriptions โ No dev work โ No friction โ Just fast, smooth user experiences Want these templates? ๐ฏ Take the quiz to unlock the full SaaS Onboarding Email Kit โ including my TINY ASK Framework: https://lnkd.in/gTyxDXWa Your users will loveee you for it! Dear B2B founders trying to post more on LinkedIn: (Also applies to anyone who wants to grow here in 2025) Youโre not late. Youโre just showing up at a time when the rules are changing. The creator middle classโthe โgreat hooks, generic adviceโ tipsters, platitude echo chambers, and AI rant novelsโis multiplying. Every post is starting to sound like Twitter in a suit. And the audience? They're getting tired of surface-level noise. (and AI comments too). So what else is there to gain here? Category ownership. Resonance. Relationships that could ROI over time. It's still worth your time and energy if you stop obsessing over your metrics. As a founder, youโre sitting on what most creators wish they had: ๐ค POVs shaped by real-world building ๐ค A vision that runs deeper and longer than virality ๐ค Customer conversations that make great non-obvious content You donโt need a million impressions anyway. Just a clear, resonant narrative that speaks to the right few. Thatโs what we do with AllBound: We help founders design outbound engines that spread the stories only they can tell while building the right relationships that ROI over time. If youโre wary of the content noise, but ready and committed to create and show up online, my DM is open. I'm also writing about this shift on Substack. The collapse of shallow content, platform switching (hello Substack), and what content systems should founders (and freelancers) invest in this 2025. #B2BContent #LinkedIn
Just saw that Favikon dropped their April 2025 social media rankings โ and honestly? Itโs so good! I love seeing more non-English speaking and women creators getting recognized. Most onboarding emails explain. Likeโฆ a lot. Some try to impress. (Grandly. And not in a good way.) Others?
