A $17,855 day for one of my students.

Crazy!

This is one of those case studies that's so good I'm almost hesitant to share it.

Because this is really not what you should expect to happen.

But it's worth sharing because it shows you the potential for what can happen. 

And the best part?

He did it while trading along with Gus, one of the professional traders in my Discord community, right before Thanksgiving.

46% of Americans say the American Dream is dead.

The part of trading that makes you money is the part that makes you want to quit.

I post a lot of the exciting stuff.

The screenshots from clients who message me saying "I just made $4,000 in 10 minutes." 

It's fun to post and fun to read and gets a lot of likes, but what you don't see from these students is days 47, 119, and 335 where they didn't have anything to send me. 

The huge results are maybe 5% of what happens

The other 95% is sitting there doing nothing. 

If you're doing it right, you're spending a ton of time just waiting and watching a setup that isn't quite right and not taking it. 

Then, you close your laptop at 10am because there's nothing to do. 

You might break even for a week straight and remind yourself that's actually a win.

That's the work.

And it feels like absolutely nothing is happening. Your brain is screaming at you to do something, but the traders who make it are the ones who can sit in that boredom and not get all antsy and force a trade. 

That's half the skill... Just the ability to be bored and not do something stupid.

I spent 35 years in Corporate America thinking hard work meant being busy. 

Trading taught me the opposite.

Most people refuse to look in the mirror when things don’t go their way. 

They would rather blame anyone they can. 

With trading, there’s nobody to blame other than yourself. 

It’s the ultimate lesson in “taking responsibility” 

Took 2 losing trades 
Took 2 winning trades

But still finished in the green on a day with awful price action.

Maybe tomorrow will be better?

You're never going to win every trade! But if you're like my students, you can laugh at the losses.

"50% down... Really should have known better."

"But I'm laughing about it after the QQQ gains."

The sooner you accept that losing is a part of trading, the better off you'll be. 

Don't get too high.
Don't get too low.

Just:

• Stick to the plan.
• Be patient.
• Have a community.
