I want to know how I can contribute to a product, community, or business in the most impactful way. But for that, we need strategic insights. We need clarity about our options and their potential impact. You never know for sure. But at least about the options, you can get clarity. And I'm intrigued about how to get this clarity on a strategic level. I've seen a lot of individual contributors who got this clarity and lead strategic discussions with leadership. Because this clarity is often lacking in management. Follow me along on this journey of how I gather these insights and which mental models help me get the structure in this ill-structured problem of which problems to solve for whom. Since I've worked for a startup, I'm fascinated by the problem of how to build a product users are grateful for and which is viable for the business. I'm a big fan of a few buzzwords that have unfortunately become empty phrases these days because they've been posted as political goals and then not filled with life. Some of these are customer-centricity, product strategy, experiment-driven development, and business modeling.
