As the only person on LinkedIn to have an almond croissant named after them, I have built a career at the intersection of finance, technology, and entertainment. I have worked for companies like PwC, KPMG, JP Morgan Chase, and Disney, as well as in emerging industries such as Web3, crypto, and blockchain. I have contributed to companies backed by top investors like Mark Cuban, Ashton Kutcher, and Benchmark. My expertise is rooted in finance and operations, having held roles as an accountant, financial analyst, CFO, and COO. More recently, I have transitioned into business development and partnerships in the startup world. Recently, I was ranked number one in the United States for LinkedIn community growth by data and analytics platform Favikon. This recognition reflects my passion for building communities, creating impactful content, and helping businesses scale. While I never set out to be a content creator and still do not consider myself one, the biggest beneficiary of my nearly 100,000-follower community has been the companies I have worked with. By leveraging my LinkedIn presence, we have supercharged their brands, generating tens of millions of dollars in investor funding and revenue for tech startups. This success has been driven by the relationships I have built both online and in person through the more than 40 global events I have hosted in cities like New York, London, and Paris. My passion for community led me to publish the Amazon best-selling book The Future of Community, which explores how brands can harness emerging technologies like Web3, crypto, and blockchain to grow. Additionally, I hosted more than 90 episodes of the TV show NFT Heat, where we interviewed top thought leaders and brand executives from companies such as Alo Yoga, Fox Entertainment, and Publicis. This love for community-building continues with my new show How To Make Money in the Middle East, co-hosted with Nehha A. Bhattiaa. Our goal is to bridge the gap between the West and the Middle East, showcasing the immense opportunities in this dynamic and rapidly growing region. The inspiration for this show came from my time living and working in Dubai in 2023, where I worked for a tech company that was recently acquired for $450 million. I fell in love with the people, the culture, and the limitless opportunities the Middle East offers. Now, my focus is on helping businesses scale, uncovering new opportunities, and bridging industries and markets.
