A Minimum Viable Product is NOT a half-baked version of your idea. 

It's the simplest form that tests your core assumptions about the customer's problem and your solution. 

It’s a must-have to test your product (trust me on this one).

Early adopter feedback is your path to clarity,
Put your MVP in the hands of potential customers. 
Now, understand,
Do they use it? 
Do they PAY for it? 
Honest feedback, even if critical, is essential at this stage.


✅ Step 6

Data-Driven insights: measure what matters,

Track user acquisition, conversion from free to paid, and customer churn. 

Are the numbers growing? 

Stagnating?  

Data provides invaluable clues about PMF.

Remember, Product-Market Fit is a Process, Not an Event.

Understanding the rise and fall of a fabulous business idea with,



Beepi, the ultimate disruptive used car startup,

Beepi aimed to shake up the used car market. 

Their promise? 

A hassle-free online platform for buying and selling used cars,
 
Complete with inspections, guarantees, and doorstep delivery.  

With millions in funding, they expanded rapidly, but finding sustainable product-market fit proved elusive.

Now, what Went Wrong with Beepi:
 
1.  Costly operations

Unlike pure online marketplaces, Beepi handled every step of the process.  Inspecting, refurbishing, and delivering cars created a heavy cost structure that traditional dealerships and emerging rivals didn't face.

2.  The trust factor

Buying a significant asset like a used car, sight unseen, is a major leap of faith. Beepi's guarantees and return policy could only go so far in building the necessary trust for widespread adoption.

3.  Limited margins

The used car market operates on razor-thin margins. Beepi's additional operational costs meant they struggled to achieve profitability with each sale.

4.  Intensifying competition

Beepi wasn't alone in seeing the potential for online car sales. Competitors like Carvana and CarMax, armed with their own funding, were refining their models and building brand recognition.

5.  The failed pivot

Realizing the model's limitations, Beepi attempted to pivot toward a focus on fleet sales, but it was too little, too late.

The Aftermath: 

In 2017, Beepi was acquired by Fair.com, and its original peer-to-peer platform ultimately shut down. 

Their story highlights the constant need for adaptation and the fine balance between convenience and established buying habits.

Tired of those "overnight success" LinkedIn tales? 

Let's get real about what it truly takes to build something great. 

Why are people always on LinkedIn?

Because fans love stories irrespective of their authenticity.

Examples of fake stories:

↳        I built my application in 2 weeks.
↳        I did it all by myself.
↳        My investors refused to invest, so I became my investor.

Now, while there are people genuinely strong, most of them on LinkedIn are the first copies of the STRONG.

Not lying.

Built your application “by yourself” in “two weeks” and “invested your own money.”

WTH is that?

So, you are basically telling me, you started a business worth a crore of money in two weeks without any help.

It's the same as saying you got a production house standing in two weeks with no help.

Let me rub a reality check on your face.

Firstly, that is utter BS.

Secondly, you cannot get your business standing without PEOPLE.

Sure, you could be as talented as Steve Jobs or Einstein per say.

But it took them years too.

Now the facts- OKAY?

Think of it as a production house.

You need 

↳ Directors.
↳ Producers.
↳ Designers.
↳ Artists.

You can’t be all.

You could either be the director who directs the whole working of the idea, or maybe the producer who produces the idea. 

You could be the designer who designs the process.

Or

Ultimately the actor who implements it at the end.

No appreciation?
