A board year at G.C.H.C. from September to September. G.C.H.C. is a hockey club with about 800 members. As secretary, I took on various tasks, think here of organising the membership database, maintaining tight contact between board and members, updating security clubhouse and updating the websites at the time.

A two-day international at the Groningen Cricket and Hockey Club ground. Netherlands against New Zealand. This event attracted about 5500 to 6000 visitors and we worked with about 100 to 150 volunteers.

My ideal workday:
 
07:00/08:00 – 12:00 - Focused client work
Emails turned off, so I can fully focus on my work without interruptions.
 
12:00 – 13:00 - Lunch and a walk with my dog
Working gets me hungry and walking clears my mind.
 
13:00 – 16:00 - Meetings
I always schedule meetings in the afternoon, so all the important work is done first.
 
16:00 - Close the laptop and enjoy the evening
Working hard also means resting hard.
 
Never change a winning scheme. 🏆

I don't have competitors because I don't view it that way. Everyone in my field has the same goal. So, I see it more like a collaboration.
 
If someone asks me about Google Ads, I'll tell them everything they need to know and how I do it. Without a doubt.
 
Actually, I think you become better off that way.
 
The only competition I see is someone who's afraid to share information with me but only comes to take.
 
Other than that, everyone can do as they please, as far as I'm concerned.
