Back in 2014, I started developing an interest in international development. A few trips to Western Sahara and the largest slums in Asia and Africa opened my eyes. Since then, I've spent a large chunk of my spare time volunteering and collaborating with non-profits. I started a local chapter of Engineers Without Borders UK and ran it for nearly 2 years. I organised events with over 50 changemakers. I became a Trustee for a homelessness charity for over a year. I went 3 months volunteering as a Team Leader in a rural village in Nepal. Some people spend their life looking for their purpose in life. I was lucky enough to find it at age 25. My purpose in life is to change the world / make a difference / make an impact / help those who need it the most / eradicate poverty / end climate change / call it however you want. And I've realised that the most impactful thing I can do as an individual in my life is to help connect changemakers so that they can join forces and amplify their impacts. That's why I started Good Ripple - because we do need the good ripple effect that happens when 2 changemakers come together - the power of people gets unleashed. I'm committed to dedicating the rest of my life to helping those who need it the most, through empowering the people who are already helping them.
