It actually has now worked in our favour weirdly enough. Starting a business in one particular niche that not many people knew about with no experience. 😆 (Wouldn’t recommend it now btw) We have experienced some ridiculous lows. We have said yes to the most stupid things What you think could go wrong with any project we have experienced. Paid stupid money to boost our business because that’s what everyone does. Got our hopes up with time wasters again and again Ordered £££££ of the wrong colour material Worked day and nights to survive When I see vinyl wrapping companies starting up and promising clients things that I know is going to cause them headaches. Pricing jobs so insanely low when I can already see what is going to happen. It feels like having that experience has paved the way for us to be one of the top commercial vinyl wrapping companies in the UK. (I’m giving us that title 😅) I can already see how projects are going to pan out and plan for it. I can already smell out the bad payers and put deposits in place Not ordering anything until we get written sign offs. I can see it’s not going to be ready when they say. I can give more days to a job instead of rushing it so the client thinks we are amazing. ( they didn’t care we were just knackered ha) We are no longer in the survival mode of running a business and moved on to the growth part. What’s next for us? Growing bigger but in a steady way No rushing Then someone can buy Fusion for mills and I can be laying on a beach with a pineapple daiquiri. 😝 I’m a happy business owner today ✌️
“Movement is a medicine for creating change in a person’s physical, emotional and mental states” Feeling grateful this morning after a good workout ✌️ Exercise is important for so many reasons. Take a walk Bit of yoga YouTube hiit Mega session Low impact session Swim Do whatever your body allows but no matter what it is guaranteed it will make you feel great. Take this post as a reminder 🧘♀️ No I’m not a glamorous gym person. I’m a tomato 🍅
Don’t overlook the site managers ❌ The amount of times I have seen other trades stop working or do a lesser job when the “main” client leaves because they think the site manager won’t care. It’s a MUST from me to have a good working relationship from the start with the site managers. I want their number ( not in a weird way 🤣) I want them to call me if any issues. I want them to think highly of us. It’s good to be able to organise access/dates of work. The client wants that too. They want to be able to pass that over and trust that between us both the job gets finished to the highest standard. They are crucial to me and it’s good when they ask us if we are going to be working on their other sites. I also empathise with them when it’s mega stressful getting complete for deadline. Love this review from one of the site managers we have worked with this year on behalf of Crofton Interiors Ltd UK 🥹
223 lockers wrapped this week on phase 1 with individual printed stickers on each one after the wrap. Can’t share because we signed an NDA. So use your imagination 😆😆 🟠 Before They were all white and boring. In blocks of 40. Had a slight curve at the top. 🟠 Process Removed each one including locks. Scraped off the old remaining stickers Prepped, primed and wrapped. All put back on. 🟠 Result 223 lockers wrapped in a gorgeous natural wood. 19mm sticker numbers placed on each one in the middle of the locker. They look absolutely amazing 😍 Off to London today to carry out some sample boxes over the next few days 🙏 Buzzing about that potential project Enjoy this glorious weather ☀️☀️
People always say if your business solves a problem you should always make sales. 💡 This is why I knew I wanted a piece of the commercial market. Vinyl wrapping solves problems for clients. Hurdles they face ❌ can’t rip it out - too expensive ❌ can’t get the colour or effect they want replacing it ❌ too much disruption with a working business ❌ lead times facing 7-8 weeks ❌ having to explore more sustainable options This is where we jump in and take over with wrapping 💁♀️ Counter top wrap completed. A few hours install. Game changer 😎 Any projects message me.
Spontaneous day in the Lakes today Wastwater if anyone wants to know - it’s glorious 😍 All the gang, food and kayak. So lucky that places like this are on our doorstep. Days like today where I can clock off like that make running a business worth every bit of stress.
Over £80,000 😱 To rip out and replace all of the kitchens in these hospitality private boxes. OR You can vinyl wrap them all for less than £30,000. I know what I would choose 💁♀️ No hassle. 3-4 hours per kitchen 😎 No hidden costs. It is actually that good 😍 Worked on 2 large clients with their hospitality suites the past week…exciting! Vinyl wrapped in an anthracite metamark grey.
A small change making a HUGE difference 🪄✨ I love seeing the clients face when they can’t believe it looks this good after. 😍 Our project vinyl wrapping numerious interior lift panels in a serviced office building. Completely transforms into a classy AF space compared to that minging orange wood. In budget ✅ Can work flexible hours to complete so no disruption to staff ✅ I genuinely have so much passion for vinyl wrapping and what we can offer. No more “They need to give this lift a makeover” comments. Any projects give me a shout. 😎
We got a verbal nod for a job yesterday for around 200 panels in a huge atrium. Two issues they had prior exploring vinyl wrap. - couldn’t find the right bronze match - powder coating was just just an insane cost. “I know who I can ask about vinyl wrapping”. That’s what the PM said to Rosie 🙏 We have worked on so many commercial jobs all with different reasons to utilise vinyl wrapping. It’s not always about the cost saving element. It’s - lead times of replacing - flexibility around hotel rooms being on/off - helping them make more sustainable choices - not being able to find a good replacement colour match. I love being involved in such an innovative product and watching it grow. Drop me a message for any projects
I love vinyl wrapping so much we decided to wrap our own media wall 😍😍 How nice is that green though 👌 Built in MDF 4 metres long with some bespoke MDF shelves wrapped in a antique coverstyl wood. LOTS of prep 😝 Can’t wait to show the end result.
Do you know what’s getting on my t*ts at the mo? Large big clients constantly trying to throw their weight around and make us smaller companies seem desperate. Dropping the… “We might have to go elsewhere” line Because they don’t want to - pay on our 30 day terms - not pay the cancellation fee of less than 24 hours notice then they are “disappointed” with the charge and need it to be reviewed. - give us notice on jobs and want us to organise a team of a billion the night before - not worthy of any sort of communication Let me tell you The blackmail of the ‘we might look at using another supplier’ gig is dying out. Because guess what happens now. We say ‘bye hun’ and make way for a more valued client. Us small growing companies are knowing our worth. We are no longer putting our own business at risk just to prove to you we ARE good enough so you reap the rewards. If you are a SME you are worth all of the non-negotiables. We have a right to be in the corporate world and never let anyone make you feel different. It’s absolutely lovely to work with bigger clients and bigger money accounts but never drop any values to make it work.
£8 (well £12 if you don’t have a clubcard) No thanks I’ll rather itch my own eyes out of my head. 🤣 I know prices have increased but this is becoming a joke. Genuinely thinking now they are just making them so ridiculous for the crack. 😅 Hayfever sufferers like me their own brand is only £1.85 Prob the same ingredients anyway HA.
