Why do coaches keep posting that the algorithm is dead?

If it's REALLY dead, why are they STILL posting?

Simple:  They figured out the best way to get reach… is to complain that reach is dead.

They’re using the algorithm to tell you the algorithm doesn’t work.

To me, that isn't strategy, it's bordering on manipulation 

So if you are over 40 and feeling uncertain, please know

Yesterday I posted about the algorithm & every desperate "guru" appeared out of nowhere... 

To shamelessly soft pitch their services in the comments, 90+ comments so far 

It was like a bad episode of 'Beetlejuice'.

When you say 'algorithm' three times, they 'appear'

I started looking at the profiles of the people commenting because I'd never seen them before

From Houston to Delhi, they all looked identical, same formulaic banner, headline & fake AI headshot

I felt nothing

It was like they all just hatched from the same bot farm

I spoke about the bittersweet experience of being a father, being forced to leave the USA at 44, and start from zero again 

Look at the tone, length, emotions, and interactions

Look at the individuality of the opinions and the realness in the profiles

See the difference in quality

Which do you think generated more leads?

You're playing the wrong game

I’d NEVER take a vacation the USA: 

not because it’s boring, it’s fun

And not because of the people, they are great

But because it’s now too stressful to go through the immigration processes

Border patrol was already a nightmare 

The announcement today about 5 years of social media scrutiny makes it even worse 

And I know a lot of people will say something like 

‘If you’ve got nothing to hide……’

But that’s not the point, a vacation should be relaxing  

And there’s way better less stressful destinations now 

As a Florida local with friends working in the theme parks, I know they already took a massive hit 

Tourism will lose even more money now 

And so here’s my question that impacts millions 

Could this post be understood to be negative ?

Should I delete it?

What happens if you delete ALL your social

Just remember if you are losing your job or your business is struggling...

Once we lose EVERYTHING, then we become free to do ANYTHING

Losing the baggage, BS, and opinions of people that don't matter anyway 

In my experience is exactly the thing we need to move forwards

I’ve seen a lot of women doing the reverse and changing their profile gender to male 

And getting a huge explosion in reach 

And they blame the platform/algorothm for it 

I don’t agree 

it’s not the fault of the platform or algorithm 

Unfortunately it’s worse than that 

It’s not the algorithmsfault because the algorithm is just a reflection of society

Or put another way if you Replace the word ‘algorithm’ with ‘human’ 

and the sad truth is you get closer to what’s going on 

We have a long way to go as people don’t we?

and I’m here to support you when I see you in the feed

And if you celebrate thanksgiving with friends and family 

Then you have NO idea what it takes to build a business 

Why would you waste time on loved ones who might not be around in a few years 

When you can spend all day with a large language model BRO 

And Why the hell would you relax for a day? 

When you could be swimming alone in pool of gold like Scrooge mcduck

With just 7 years of 120 hour working weeks 

At least according to the average hustle bro 

And I LOVE them because they allow me to endulge my British sarcasm

Why i'm leaving the USA for the UK:

Some people got offended yesterday because I spoke about this

And rightly pointed out to me that the Uk is a shambles too (I’m British)

But here’s the thing, after 16 years on the road 

As a Spanish and English speaker who’s lived in Spain, Colombia, uk and the USA

I’ve seen everything from the most dangerous neighborhoods in bogota 

To mixing with millionaires here in Florida 

And at the end of the day if you woke up to live another day today 

You already won, because millions didn't including my best friend who passed at 45 in March

and so if you have access to food and healthcare and shelter 

Then you are ahead of most of the planet and IMO it doesn’t really matter where you live 

And that’s why I’m going back to the UK

Yess it’s a mess but it’s an EASY mess for me

Ever looming immigration processes in the USA, international tax and distance from family, 

It all gets old and it's not worth a bit more sun or a few percentage points shaved of income tax

Why?

I Love the USA but peace of mind is priceless and that's what matters to me

Once you get older did your priorities also change?
