In 2019, I started my journey as a Social Entrepreneur with about $10. Picture a 20-year-old girl with Big Dreams and a determination to make impact in her world. I remember hosting the maiden edition of the Mediapreneur Conference in 2019. As beautiful as it turned out, I had loads of debts to clear. Everyone I met to help reminded me that it was a dream that only I had and I was left to bear the cross. But it the midst of it all, getting testimonials from People like Vee Stores who launched her mini importation business and DWG photography who carved a photography niche for himself after the conference gave me fulfillment. I stopped thinking about the debt and started looking for ways to replicate this success in as many young people as possible. I didn’t stop at the first edition. With great mentorship and a solid team, we produced 4 powerful editions between 2019 - 2022. I knew we needed funds to make impact and I wasn’t going to wait for some Angel Investors or Venture capitalist to find me, I delved into the world of freelancing where a certain percentage of my income went into funding this dream. I put my love for helping people birth ideas into my freelancing skills and I served as a Launch and Brand Strategist for different brands across the world.
