If we met at a coffee shop for coffee and you asked me what I do here's what I'd say:

Hey, I'm Natalie. I help people who know they're valuable but can't seem to convince anyone else - especially their boss or potential employers. You're probably underpaid, undervalued, or stuck in a 'golden handcuffs' situation that feels safe but doesn't reflect the value you’re actually providing. I teach you to see and communicate your value so clearly that getting paid what makes sense to you, makes sense to others too.

The slightly longer version would be... 

For 10 years, I trapped myself in an emotionally neglectful relationship where I heard: "Your feelings don't matter. You're too sensitive. You need to change." Meanwhile, I excelled professionally, easily negotiating raises and promotions.

This experience became something I turned into gold for a much better experience of life. I discovered how childhood messages shaped both realities... professionally believing "my work has value and I deserve to be paid well" while personally accepting "I'm better off with someone who mistreats me than being alone."

This painful journey became my superpower. Through my VCVC method (Value Creation, Value Communication), I help professionals who are chronically undervaluing themselves break free from "toxic security"... staying in situations that you know are less than you deserve because deep down, you believe it's the best you can get.

I see what you can't. Your "value blindness." Like being nose-blind to a familiar smell, you can't recognize your unique value because you've lived with it your whole life.

I've helped clients like Jamie transform low-value offers into higher salaries, and Rick confidently decline offers to later accept positions paying $30K more in environments that truly value him.

The more you honour and own your value, the more you will receive it back... in your professional life through money, and in your personal life through the people who show up for you.

"I replaced my entire six-figure income working 8 hours a week."

That's what my latest podcast guest told me.

And I almost didn't believe her.

But here's the thing:

Raquel Castillo was a full-time COO. Employee number 6 at her company. Loved her job. Made six figures.

But she was dropping her kids off at daycare at 7am and picking them up last at 6pm.

There had to be a different way.

So she went fractional.

What does fractional even mean?

It means working as a C-suite executive (COO, CMO, CFO) for multiple companies part-time.

Raquel works 8-10 hours per week with each client. Her max? 

Three clients at once.

Here's what blew my mind about this conversation:

➜ Her FIRST fractional client replaced her entire full-time income 
➜ With three clients, she makes significantly more than her old salary 
➜ She picks up her kids at 3pm now 
➜ One client paid her through maternity leave 
➜ She's in the power seat - she "graduates" clients when ready

"BUT NATALIE, HOW DO YOU EVEN FIND FRACTIONAL WORK?"

Raquel had a brilliant approach:

She found full-time COO job postings.

Then messaged companies: "I see you're hiring a full-time COO. Would you be interested in a fractional option instead?"

So many replied: "What's fractional?"

That question started the conversation.

This isn't just her. Post-COVID, fractional work exploded. 

One fractional group went from 1,000 people to 10,000 in a single year.

Who can do this?

If you've led teams or have high-level operations experience, you're probably ready.

Raquel calls it the "10% edge" - if you know 10% more than someone at a lower level, you can teach it.

The same problems exist at a 400-person company and a 15-person company. Your expertise compounds as you work with more clients.

Common concerns people have: 

➜ "My employer will be upset" [Some employers become your first fractional client]
➜ "I won't make enough money" [You can make MORE with multiple clients] ➜ "I'll mix up my clients" [Systems solve this - you'll have separate inboxes]

This conversation opened my eyes to what's possible when you have a six-figure job but want something different.

Not everyone needs to go fractional. 

But knowing it exists? That's powerful.
