When I was a kid, I was told if you want to be successful you need to 'go to school, work hard, and get a high paying job like a doctor or lawyer'. I hated school so I thought I was destined to never succeed. Everything changed when by a stroke of luck got a job at the Country Club as a busboy. For years I worked my way up from busboy, to waiter, to bartender then into leadership while also with learning from the wealthy about entrepreneurship and money. One day my boss brought me into his office and told me I was made for more. He gave me 2 months worth of pay and fired me so that I could go figure it out on my own. At first I crashed and burned but in the 2005, after being on the brink of bankruptcy, I learned about digital marketing and built my first 6 figure online business. That did well for years but then I crashed and burned again because I couldn't compete with Amazon & E-bay. Then I got into Sales at a Fortune 500 company and reached Presidents Club 9 out of 10 years, closing over $35 million in deals. I learned how to sell without being pushy or high pressure. Then I became a disciple of mindset and personal development, starting a podcast called the Mindset Hackers and spent time coaching and consulting on peak performance. I rolled the money I made from consulting into real estate investing and then start ups.
