Are your Open rates = 👍 Click Rates=👍 Delivery %= 👍 But Conversions =👎? I encountered this in the past and was puzzled about why this was the case. I finally figured it out. I was always focused on email copy and formatting. Did I use too many spam words? Is my email too long? Is my subject line personalized and genuine? All questions that run through your head while setting up campaigns. Ultimately, we as salespeople want to hit our numbers and increase conversions. This is what led me down the rabbit hole of email deliverability and all the technical factors that factor into it. What I found fascinating was that DNS and email protocols have to be set for optimal delivery but only 32% of companies have even set up basic DNS protocols (SPF). I do understand where those 68% of companies are coming from. Let's be honest, DNS Records are a load of 🐂💩. There are a ton of acronyms that you have to memorize and then all of the data in the records is a mix of IP addresses and technical coding. The DNS management software on the market is also not helpful. They were made by System Administrators for System Administrators. I've helped start Palisade to combat this.
