KETV - ABC Affiliate HEARST TELEVISION -  My major role was to budget the total revenue of the station’s budget in order to achieve our annual goals. I managed twelve account executives and four support staff.  I am also responsible for managing and supervising the station's inventory and pricing grid.  My other responsibilities include supervising local revenue budget achievement, market share growth, local inventory control, packaging, and pricing, and supervising all the account executives and sales assistants including managing staff performance and providing training to develop local sales programs. I am responsible for managing the activity of every local account on KETV. My day-to-day responsibilities include working with the sales team to assist and guide them in negotiating, positioning, and forecasting within the broadcast sales cycle. I am responsible for training my team to strategically position the station in the marketplace in order to leverage our share for any and all local negotiated business.  I coach and train my team to create highly developed relationships within the advertising community.  I train my team to understand the negotiation processes in order to increase our share of the marketplace. I train my team to have a firm understanding of the dynamics of the television production process, the forecasting process, and a solid understanding of programming and how to project or estimate program ratings. I have a thorough knowledge of Marshall Marketing, analytics, budgeting, forecasting, and the role they play in educating and capturing our share of new business within the market.  I am also very familiar with Matrix as a tool for budgeting. I reported to the VP

I was responsible for positioning the station in the marketplace in order to leverage our entitled share for any National negotiated business on WBUW.  I created highly developed relationships within the management environment and I understand the negotiation processes in order to gain our fair share of the marketplace. I have an understanding of the dynamics from every department to include pricing the station, the television production process, the commissioning process and a very good understanding of programming rights. I have a critical appreciation of all the elements of broadcast advertising and all the departments it affects. I was responsible for controlling inventory and building the pricing model for the station in order to meet budgets and increase year-to-year share goals. I reported directly to the CEO and the Director of Sales for Acme Communications.
