Anyone else gagged when Billie added you to her close friends story last night? 

I fully thought she had found my insta and wanted to be besties 🥺 

Turns out she added all 115M of her followers. 

Close friends stories are used for those more casual, funny moments to share with your best mates.

(For me, it’s where I share my dating horror stories - purely for my friends’ entertainment and the plot ofc). 

And the best thing about it is that ✨ special feeling ✨ of being in the “chosen” few of trusted friends. 

Similar to when you’d finally make it into someone’s top 3 friends on Snapchat, remember that?

But that feeling is elevated x100 when I was handpicked as a close for a double Oscar-winning artist 🤯

That was until Twitter humbled me… 🙃

Here’s why it’s SUCH an interesting move ⬇️

👉🏻 The use of “close friends” makes her fans feel closer to her than any other celeb they follow, boosting their loyalty to her.
