Working with founders and business Leaders to craft powerful and authentic personal brands. Why? Because reputation matters. - 82% of customers trust a company when their senior management members are active on social media - Brand messages are shared 24x more on personal accounts compared to company accounts - Customers are willing to pay 13.5x more for elite industry experts Yet only 1% of LinkedIn's 700 million users share weekly content. Our mission at Kurogo is to solve that. Kurogo is derived from the Japanese ‘Kuroko’ referring to the black clad stagehands in traditional Japanese theatre. The convention of wearing black implying the invisibility of the wearer on stage. We are your Kurogo. Directing, driving and delivering your personal brand from the background. Giving you the spotlight to excel in what you do best.

Within 6 months of working with us, this founder went from: – Zero visibility – A few hundred followers – No warm leads coming in To... → 1.8M impressions → +491.7% audience growth → Inbound investor leads every week Context: This client operates in the property development space, but the principles apply across any business looking to raise investment. I won’t waste your time here, if you want to know how we did it, flick through the carousel below. I will say though that it went so well that they actually ended up building a full in-house marketing team off the back of the results we generated And if you want to know how you can build similar results. Check the link at the top of my profile.
Summer social day 1 done and dusted. We're running it back to Nedging Hall because what a gaff this is. BIG shout out to the whole social committee for putting together our BBQ night. After us all collectively travelling 10,000+ miles to be here it was well needed. Good day to be a Kurogo member. Bad day to be a sausage. With 15 of us here this is our biggest social yet and the closest we've been to having the full team together. And this social WOULD have been the full team if we hadn't just hired someone who couldn't make it. But more on that later...
You reduce your social media time to be more productive. I reduce my social media time because I'm highly susceptible to developing parasocial relationships. We are not the same.
Working in socials means, one day people are telling you that you don’t have a real job The next day they’re blowing up your phone cause they’ve fucked up their company socials.
And that’s a wrap on the 4th Kurogo Summer Social 👏 Day 2 featured… A few hours of work (of course) A full review of 2025 so far and plans for H2 A BIG game of Taskmaster (shout-out Olivia Farr) THE Brandlies aka the Kurogo Awards night And staying up far too late to allow me to post about this on Friday. I absolutely fucking love work-from-home, so much so I may never end up back in an office again (RIP my job prospects) But getting together with this team every 6-months is genuinely the biggest highlight of my working year. If you had been there last week, you would never have thought this was a team that works remotely. They're proof that you can build an amazing culture without needing to be in the office. And I dare anyone to show me a better team than this lot. Boss year. Boss team. Here’s to a Boss H2. p.s. Shout-out to the whole Social Committee for pulling off another banger of a social 👏
I once got called out for plagiarising someone else's post. And fair play they were right I did. This was 3 years ago and I was new to this whole content malarkey. I can't remember what the post was about other than it was some general tips about marketing. And the comment stung like hell. "This is clearly copied from x, and they did it way better" Ouch. The irony of it was, the other poster was a client and I had actually written both posts. Woops. So moral of the story Save all your best content ideas for yourself. Have your clients accused of plagiarism. Not the other way around.
If your idea of WFH is young people pissing about on their laptop from their bed, then you’re the problem with the future of work. I honestly don’t give a shit… - What you wear - Where you work from - How you work. If you deliver the results I need we’re good. Just don’t get that misconstrued with thinking these things don’t matter. - Because our team turn up presentable to every call. - Working from a good environment. - And honestly not too far outside of a 9-5 schedule. My idea of work as a kid was always suits and big office blocks. I've now spent more time in my career working from home than the office. It's not for everyone, but it's definitely for me.
