Keep your email closed throughout the day. Email is an absolute pit that will suck your time dry. 

I've been checking my email in the morning, around lunch, and before I head home for the day. 

Its helped my productivity tremendously. 

I used to find myself just living in my inbox, trying to keep my head above water. 

Working on what was urgent, not what was most important. 

Just a reminder - Email, by nature, is not urgent.

There's a saying that "Structure is Strategy" 

And to be honest, I don't agree, at least not for insurance agents. 

However, just like form should follow function, structure should follow strategy. 

I've said over and over, that each time you double in size, you should re-organize. 

The way you run a $5mil agency, is not the same way that you run a $10mil agency. 

The way you run an agency in hard market, is not the same as the way you run an agency in a soft market. 

Don't assume that because the structure worked two years ago, its the best firt for your needs moving forward.

All of us have experienced paralysis by analysis. 

But where does it come from? 

It comes from fear. 

Its comes from anxiety. 

When we can't make a decision, its often because of uncertainty, fear, and doubt...aka FUD. 

So what do you do about it? 

Focus on taking 1 small action that moves you in the right direction. 

You don't need to have it all figured out to start moving. Just get moving and figure it out as you go. 

Just make sure that as you move forward, you're making decisions that give you multiple options until you're certain of the right course.
