Well, maybe not in that specific order, but those are the important aspects of my life. Here's a glimpse into my story: In the past, when I had a fuller head of hair, I trained as an engineer. However, my desire for a more business-oriented perspective and being a passionate car enthusiast led me to embark on a journey at Jaguar Land Rover. There, I immersed myself in various sales and marketing roles, sharpening my commercial acumen while having an absolute blast. Yet, the entrepreneurial spirit and the urge for a more hands-on role never left me. So, I joined Inspired Cycle Engineering, a bike company, and unleashed my marketing expertise on it. Surprisingly, it worked wonders. Within 12 months, the company's turnover doubled to £2 million, and we had extensive waiting lists for our bikes. The firm continued to flourish, growing into a team of over 40 employees and eventually becoming employee-owned. Next, I ventured into Bott, where I built an online business specializing in van racking and organization products. This was an exhilarating adventure, from receiving our first order to reaching seven-figure revenues. Our innovative online self-design and fit model disrupted the industry and garnered tremendous success. It even expanded to the US and France, serving as a testament to its effectiveness. You may notice a common thread in my journey—I have an immense passion for innovation and entrepreneurship. After studying these subjects during my MBA, I took the leap and founded my own firm called The Value Engine. Through some trial and error, I developed a range of growth services specifically tailored for business owners and founders. Why do I focus on helping small business owners and founders?
