From early-stage ventures to global brands, I support teams in embedding innovation, building capability, and delivering experiences that drive commercial and human outcomes. Whether your redesigning a motorway service station, launching a new venture, or designing a people centric strategy for HR, I help connect the dots between intent, experience, and delivery to create something people want to be part of and customers want more of. My work spans four focus areas: โข Shape the Strategy: Co-designing mission, vision, and value propositions to clarify what makes you valuable inside and out. โข Design the Experience: Digital or physical, we map, reimagine, and prototype the full journey using behavioural insight, service design, and commercial reality. โข Build Innovation Capability: From operating models to experimentation pipelines, I help create the systems for innovation to scale: so itโs embedded, not just a side project. โข Enable Teams to Deliver: Through creative innovation workshops and toolkits, I upskill internal teams in experience design, experimentation, and problem-solving leaving them with tools that outlast my involvement. ๐ ๐ ๐๐ ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ป๐ฐ๐น๐๐ฑ๐ฒ๐: โข Innovation Operating Models & Strategic Frameworks โข Reimagine customer experiences โข Customer & Employee Experience Strategy โข Physical Environment & Service Design โข Journey Mapping, Prototyping & Behavioural Insight โข Business Model & Value Proposition Design โข MVP Testing, Corporate Startups & Venture Incubation โข Human-Centered Design, Systems Thinking & Lean Startup โข Team Enablement, Playbooks & Capability Building

You donโt need better insight tools. You need better listening. Iโve seen it so much people chasing the perfect template, framework, or tech to surface โthe insight.โ But honestly? A new canvas wonโt save you if youโre not actually paying attention. Most insight work doesnโt fail because of the tools. โข It fails because we rush the listening. โข We dont pay attention to the unsaid Instead: ๐ We skim. We hear what we expect. We ignore the tiny cues the sigh before the sentence, the โmehโ expression, the throwaway comment at the end. Insight often hides in the stuff people barely say. Ask better questions. Some tactics straight from The Insightful Innovator: --- ๐ป ๐๐๐-๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฒ๐ฅ๐ ๐ช๐ฎ๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ Start you questions with โข Tell me... โข Explain... โข Describe/Demonstrate... These questions unlock stories, not summaries. --- ๐ ๐๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ค ๐๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฌ ๐จ๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ ๐จ๐๐ฅ ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฌ๐ญ Start you questions with: โข How โข Who โข Where โข What โข Why โข When โข Which Staring a question with the above helps in turning your question to one that is open and help to find detail --- ๐ค ๐๐จ๐ง๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ข๐ฉ: shut up Donโt rescue the silence instead shut up and hold the pause Let people think. That awkward pause? Thatโs often when the gold comes out. Great insight isnโt about asking more questions itโs about asking the right ones, then actually listening to the answers.
I remember running a incubation sprint for a new leadership product. We were exploring new ways to develop a new approach and we were second away from shooting down a game changing approach One of the shy'er voices in the room dropped what felt like a wildly radical idea. Before theyโd even finished speaking, someone across the table muttered: โ๐ช๐ฒ๐น๐น ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐โ๐ ๐ฑ๐๐บ๐ฏ.โ Lucky for us, we didnโt listen. Guess what that idea ended up making it through the whole incubation approach and ended up going live. Not only that, it reshaped how the org thinks about leadership completely Those three words could have killed creative momentum before it even got going. The business could have lost out on its game changing approach to leadership Here's the thing it doesnt always need words to shut something down to soon ๐ A raised eyebrow. ๐ A smirk. A stray comment that lands at the wrong time. All can stop early-stage ideas before they even get going. They dont need instant refining at the start... what they need is space. --- Your brain doesnโt need a critic when itโs dreaming. So how do you stop yourself from being critic It simple say to yourself ๐ช๐ง๐ ๐ช๐ฎ๐ถ๐: For the person to finish explaining their idea ๐ง๐ต๐ถ๐ป๐ธ: How it might actually work before I say it cant ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ฑ: Something you like on the idea Timing is everything You could be comment away form losing the best product solution before it even gets going
Nurture Most of the time, ideas fail not because theyโre inherently bad, but because theyโre killed too soon. In a rush to move on to the next big thing Teams can be quick to discard ideas without giving them the chance to mature. Like seedlings that need protection from the elements, these ideas need to be nurtured and cared for in the early stages. Thatโs what nurturing behaviour does it keeps ideas alive long enough to evolve into something meaningful. Iโve seen this happen in the real world, in startups and large corporations alike. They hold off on judgment, even if the ideas break the norm or seem impractical at first. They provide the room and support necessary for ideas to grow into something truly innovative. Protect those early thoughts, even if they donโt seem perfect. By doing so, you give them the chance to evolve and possibly transform into game changing solutions.
โThe value of this deck is insane.โ Luke O'Mahoney has said Just one of the many captures and reviews Iโve had on the People Product OS and itโs about to get better. Iโm building the first digital Booster Pack for the deckโฆ oh and itโs free for people who already bought the deck. The booster back is focused on the values, behaviours, and mindsets that make or break new thinking when it comes to people product design and innovation. This isnโt just an add-on. Itโs like a internal power up that elevates everything else. To make People Product OS the gift that keeps on giving. But like Christmasโฆ more presents = more cost. Every time I add more value, the price goes up. So if youโve been thinking about grabbing the deck, nowโs the time โ Lifetime access to future booster packs โ simple pricing โ No fluff just tactics that scale โ Grab the deck now before the prices increase and youโll get the booster pack free So if you want to future-proof your People, HR, and L&D stack then everything you need is in the comments ๐ *image below is for illustration purposes only
