HubSpot doesn’t generate good net-new cold contacts..

This is still an area that needs development I believe

Challenges I see here:

1. Data Hygiene: 
dumping raw contacts into the CRM could risk polluting it

2. Compliance:
uploading cold lists can violate GDPR policies

3. Deliverability:
being marked as SPAM affecting your deliverability score

4. Reliability on different tools:
causing data silos

Therefore, a hybrid model would work best for now:

- Keep list building & early touches outside HubSpot
(Apollo, Lemlist, SalesLoft, etc.)

- Only push warm leads into HubSpot 
(those who reply back, or show intent)

→ the CRM then becomes the place for
tracking conversations, managing deals & further nurturing

HubSpot has been adding more outbound/prospecting features, such as Prospecting Agent but it can't compare yet to Lusha, Sales Nav, Clay etc.
