One of the most effective ways to reach a large and highly-targeted audience is to:

Build relationships with key influencers in your industry.

Here's a quick 3-step system to do this:

1/ Identify key influencers

Who are the key influencers in your niche?

Make a list of all the influencers in your industry that could help you distribute your content and extend your reach to a wider audience.

2/ Qualify key influencers

Narrow down your list of influencers to those who are likely to work with you based on your current audience size.

Aim for those who are:

• Slightly behind you
• Have the same audience size
• Slightly ahead of you

And work your way up as you grow.

3/ Work your way in

• Follow your chosen influencers
• Engage with them consistently
• Help them promote their ideas

Eventually, they’ll notice you and start engaging with you.

After you’ve been actively engaging with them for a while, you can message them privately.

Don't use templates, write personalized DMs.
Don’t ask for favors. Find ways to add value.
Look for opportunities to support them. 

Be genuine in your approach.
Build long-term relationships.
And help connect people.

• Start with a frequency that you can sustain. It could be 3x a week, 5x, or 7x. 

If you're on LinkedIn, once per day is optimal.

If you're passionate about your profession and your industry, you'll find yourself researching and learning new things all the time.

Intellectual curiosity should come to you naturally. 

If it doesn't, you're probably doing something you don't enjoy.

It's hard to post high-quality content if you're not learning new things and sharpening your perspective.

Continuous education is the best way to drastically improve the quality of what you post on the internet.

The discoveries that you make in the process of exploration will inspire new thoughts and ideas that are valuable to you and your audience. 

There's no hack that can replace this!

Here’s what I learned…

The reason some people are more creative than others comes down to:

→ The quality of the things they pay attention to
→ Their ability to learn new things and action them
→ Their curiosity about how things relate to each other
→ The time and effort they invest in mastering their craft

Creative people are more inspired to do the work.

And you can do the same with a little bit of practice.

If you're a content writer, read posts from your favorite writers.

If you're a video producer, watch the work of your favorite creators.

If you're a musician, listen to the work of your favorite musicians.

Do that for 15 to 30 minutes before you start creating.

Get yourself in a state of inspiration.

The extra time you spend doing this can have a huge impact on the outcome of your work. It becomes easier to get in the zone.

I've been playing guitar for 18 years. Every time I do this before I play my instrument, it makes my playing way more effortless and intuitive.

You can prime yourself to get into a flow state.

You can nurture and cultivate your creativity.

Work with it and bring your ideas to life.
