So, What Do You Do Charlie? Good question. Here’s my current answer… I do a few things. All focused on the future of careers. Specifically, I work four days a week as a Founders Associate at The Portfolio Collective where we help 10,000+ members create thriving portfolio careers, earning through more than one source of income. On my 5th, 6th and 7th day I also build the Undefinable Community, a collection of 50+ multipotentialites who see themselves as more than just their occupational label and come together to collectively empower each individual’s creativity, authenticity and capability. We do wholesome weekend retreats, co-working days and monthly reflections. It’s pretty cool. And I share everything I learn about all the people I meet and my own experiences through public speaking for organisations, creating content here and writing a newsletter called “So, What Do You Do?” to my 900+ weekly readers. All while juggling my career as an endurance athlete, where I placed 33/1115 at Ironman UK and 396/3935 at Ironman 70.3 World Champions in 2023 and am currently training to go sub 2h 30m at the London Marathon in April 2024. In short, I believe I’m living the future of careers. And I want to help you do the same. By empowering you with the frameworks, skills and mental models to succeed as an individual with many interests. I’m building a world where work will be a means of achieving our purpose first and a source of financial gain second. One where individuals will be treated as humans, not commodities, participating in a portfolio of projects at once, dictating how, when and where they work. This is what the future of work means.
