LinkedIn has changed a lot.

Impressions are down for everyone.
The video feed is taking over massively.
New LinkedIn users are quitting a lot sooner. 

My strategy for beginners? Stick to the basics.

1. Write for 30 minutes a day using proven templates.
2. Educate your audience with your content
3. Have at least 1 DM conversation daily

Tested these simple tactics out with 10 people.
They've gotten more reach than ever, last month alone.

It's not magic, it's just simple enough for someone to keep doing it consistently and not quit or get distracted.

Play the long-game, ignore shiny objects or hacks.

Have coffee chats with people and connect with them.
Create content that can change 1 persons life. 
Build the habit of writing for Linkedin.

Do this for the last 3 months of 2024 → win 2025.

The 1 mistake I made when I started posting on LinkedIn:

Wrote about the problem, never the solution. 

Here's the thing:

Your ideal client already knows their problem.
Your ideal client already knows they need help. 
Your ideal client is looking for an immediate solution. 

So whenever you write next:

1. Point out 1 problem 
2. Tell them you have the solution
3. Show them your process to solve them

It doesn't have to be a full case study or a crazy system. 

It can be a simple as this post.

Don't highlight what's broken. Fix it for free! 
This is how you get clients to come to you.

LinkedIn gurus will tell you to focus on the hook.

But all my best-performing posts have more than one.

Here are 4 writing tips I use daily to write viral content:

1. Write each sentence like its the last: Be precise.
2. Add a "quick win" in each line: Make it applicable.
3. Stop over-explaining: Get to the point, immediately.
4. Give solutions: Give people a reason to comeback!!!

Three bonus writing tips:

→ Use bold statements, people like confidence.
→ Be immediately actionable, your post is their guide.
→ Avoid complicated words, write conversationally pls.

This is how you get people hooked on your content.
And also, how you get them to stay.

Write a master hook. In every. single. line.

Here's my biggest LinkedIn writing hack that works:

Don't try to be an expert, be an enthusiast. 

Here are 2 ways to get started.

1. Pick a topic you've got previous experience on.
2. Pick a topic you're learning right now.

For example, I'm growing my email list...

My next post → How I'm growing my email (without ads)
The post after that → How to write emails that convert

The trick here? write about something you enjoy.

1. Study that topic like crazy.
2. Know the benefits, problems and solutions
3. Write about it in your content every single week.

If I had no niche or idea, I'd be doing exactly that.

In fact that's how I wrote my first 50 posts!

Don't try to be an expert, become it over time.

My Linkedin audience is my greatest asset. 

But last year, I started slowly diversifying it.

Grew my LinkedIn to 40k, and started posting on X.
Grew my LinkedIn to 80k, and started a newsletter.
Grew my LinkedIn to 100k+ and started posting on YT.

And I think every creator should take a similar path.

My strategy? Build trust on one platform first. 

1. Master writing and define your brand on LinkedIn.
2. Turn your best-performing content into long-form. 
3. Repurpose ideas and sentences in all of them. 

It's crazy simple, the hard bit is focusing on one platform first before moving on to the next one. Don't rush it. 

Focus on nurturing 1 platform, then the rest - please!

My LinkedIn grew by 100,000+ new followers in 1 year.
My YouTube is estimated to do the same next.

Here's exactly how I'm doing it (steal the strategy).

1. Post 3-5x a week on LinkedIn
2. Analyse the best-performing posts
3. Turn those posts into script ideas
4. Use the hooks on posts as video hooks
5. Use LinkedIn to A/B test winning YouTube titles

But that's just the content strategy. 

The element most people miss out on? Focus. 

You need to win on 1 platform to then grow others.

Most people try to grow on multiple platforms at the same time, and my best piece of advice?

Do one, incredibly well. Then take it everywhere else.

Build your reputation first, and leverage it after.

Here's the 5-steps I used to grow and get clients faster:

1. Create one simple offer
2. Focus on one problem to solve
3. Create content around everyday
4. Build a portfolio of your work on LI 
5. Connect with 10 people a day, DM 5.

Do this, and market yourself shamelessly.

Build your credibility via success with that 1 offer first.
Then, amplify your results by creating content about it.

Like I say talk about you, but also about them.

Solve a problem for your audience.
DM those who engage with you

This is mega-simple, but it works. Every time.
