Decisions shape your destiny. 

How?

There are two types of decision makers. 

Conscious. And unconscious. Which type are you?

Type 1: The unconscious decision-makers:

1. React impulsively → driven by emotions
2. Follow the crowd → lack personal vision
3. Avoid tough choices → stay in the comfort zone
4. Blame circumstances → feel powerless
5. Ignore long-term impact → short-sighted actions

Type 2: The conscious decision-makers:

1. Act mindfully → driven by values and goals
2. Think independently → create a unique path
3. Embrace challenges → grow through discomfort
4. Take responsibility → empowered mindset
5. Consider future consequences → visionary actions

Today is Gurupurnima day. 

But 97% of us spend it by sending forwarded messages created by phone companies to increase their messaging use.

It doesn't have to be that way. Here's a possibility: 

I acknowledge different people's contributions to my life, whether they have crossed my path as gurus, friends, disciples, team members, partners, or clients. 

I want to share these two words with all those who need different outcomes in their lives: "Bottomline Ownership." 

You may skip reading further if, in your life, you are exactly where you want to be.

But if not, this might be worth reading. 

A lot of us make decisions based on assumptions. We assume something and believe it to be true, but often, that's not the case.

The assumption is a probability at its best and kills many possibilities of reaching the truth.

When you take bottomline ownership of the decisions you make in your life: 

- you stop making life decisions based on assumptions;
- you start looking at the truth as it is (not the truth that you like);
- you stop letting your emotions take the better of you.

Bottomline Ownership has two components:
1. Bottomline = the line at the bottom of a financial report that shows the net profit or loss, and 
2. Ownership = owning the ultimate consequences of actions.

A life of significance invariably has these two components embedded in it. 

Bottomline Ownership means that whatever is happening to you is your choice!

When I got this distinction 15 years ago, my life changed…for good.

Situations are generally not bad, they are not good either, but assumptions make them bad. 

So today, I take bottomline ownership of my decisions and 
- apologize to everyone for any unintended hurt my choices may have caused; 
- invite any team members/business partners/associates to "complete" if they are holding anything on me for any reason; 
- affirm that my life will continue to make it a win-win for everyone involved, not a zero-sum game.

Access this possibility: you have great potential to do wonders this year. Continue the quest to "know" the truth and become aware in the process—those who do that get desired outcomes sooner than later. 

And their lives upgrade for good. 

Gu means "assumptions/ignorance," and ru means "dispeller." 

Deliberately be a dispeller of assumptions and … go, make something happen! ✌️
