Why is Claude so bad at following instructions?

Here's the twist:  It's actually much better than you think.

"Well, how could that be? We tried the same prompt and GPT4 does so much better." 

And that right there, is the issue. 

💡 Claude was trained differently and won't follow the same instruction format that you've been using with GPT4. 

It's that simple. 

So, by using the instruction format that Claude 2.1 actually understands, I got it to perform even better than GPT4. See the screenshot below. 

And this is really great, because Claude is so much cheaper.

ChatGPT is the killer of everything.  
 
Okay, not yet.  
 
Truth is - AI has been killing SEO (search engine optimization) slowly for the past few years. It caused an explosion of bla-blas. 𝗔𝗻 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗻𝗼𝗶𝘀𝗲. 
 
My personal opinion (thanks for asking), as someone leading a project which is amazing at SEO: 
 
👉 SEO is a bad word already. And SEO will be quickly dying in the next 5 years. No one will call themselves an SEO specialist anymore. + they wouldn't be able to achieve great results that fast anyways. 
 
Many foresee this.  
 
Cause it's about the CONTENT, not SEO. 
 
But this is good. 
 
Because it was never meant to be about optimizing what the search engine shows. 
 
It was meant to be about the quality of the content your write. 
 
In fact, SEO (search engine) is just a way for people to find your content.  
 
Focus on good content and then find cheaper ways to spread the word: 
 
- newsletters 
- social 
- video 
 
Truth is - we are employing all of these. 
 
𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 is the name of the game. 
 
Not SEO. 
 
The last trains of SEO are leaving the station.  
 
But CONTENT will always be king.

I decided to build a spreadsheet to track my LinkedIn post engagements. 
 
I decided to Excel (of course I did, the world runs on excel 😂). 
 
But my excel skills were a little rusty. 
 
Step in ChatGPT. 
 
In seconds I could describe the output I wanted and it would suggest a formula I could try. 
 
No more googling, clicking, trial and error.

But remember - start with a problem or challenge. 
 
If you start with the tool (e.g. "how can I use AI in my daily work?") then you're doing it back-to-front! 
 
Final note - AI is a tool, but it's not the answer to everything! 🤖

Having been an avid Chat-GPT fan (mainly for document creation, review/analysis and improvement) we have just started trialling Co-Pilot, literally the 3rd day in.

Some good elements around recapping Teams meetings and associated actions. The MS Word element seems basic at the moment as does the Excel & PowerPoint elements but to be fair the rate that Chat-GPT improved gives me hope that there will be some elements that evolve quickly.

But nothing to do with Co-Pilot, I got introduced to Viva Insights yesterday (which has been around for years) - that is a pretty powerful tool for insights around email comms and keeping you accountable.

I also have seen Viva Engage arrive as a tab in my Outlook which looks like it is Yammer re-born.... 

So in summary:

1. Is anyone using Co-Pilot and how are you finding it?
2. Viva Insights - anyone else come across this?
3. Did anyone actually ever use Yammer?
4. How does anyone keep an eye on the ever-evolving Microsoft 365 range and how do you stay informed?
