Following a monthly budget was always hard for me. 

I spent all the money with weeks left to go. 

$200 a month for restaurants? 
One dinner  ✅ 
January 3rd 

Resolutions died fast. 

Here's what finally worked for me: 

Planning monthly 
But tracking weekly 

I turned monthly goals into weekly allowances. 
→  $300 /mo for clothes became $75 /week. 
→  $300 /mo for groceries became $75 /week. 
→  $400 /mo for entertainment became $100 /week. 

Micro-allowances forced better decisions in a way that monthly budgeting never did. 

It's a whole lot easier to manage 7 days than 31. 

If you struggle with a monthly budget, give this a whirl. 

Betcha don't hate it.

I bought my first stock in 2008. The market had crashed, and my dad, a broker at the time, encouraged me to start. 

“Everything’s on sale,” he said. 
 
I loved picking stocks and watching them move. But I didn’t have a strategy, and I was terrible with money. So I ended up selling my stocks when I needed money. 
 
Had I held on to those early investments, I’d be sitting on a pile of money today. But I wasn’t thinking long-term. I have a lot of regrets about that.
 
When the market crashed again in 2020, I was older and wiser. And my dad’s words came back to me. “Everything’s on sale.” 
 
I dusted off my old brokerage account and got back to my old hobby. Watching the market, learning, buying stocks. 

But this time, I was serious. 
 
It wasn’t long before I fired my financial advisor. It was clear my accounts hadn’t been managed with my best interest in mind. And I realized I could manage my own portfolio. 
 
As I learned and invested more, I talked with friends about their views on investing. 
 
Time and again, people told me the stock market intimidated them. 

Everyone expressed interest, but did not believe they could invest on their own. 
 
So I started showing some friends how to open a brokerage account. I showed them how I make investing decisions. I made it easy for them to understand.
 
I got a lot of joy from demystifying the stock market so my friends could start investing too, without feeling intimidated.
 
And with encouragement from those friends, and my husband, I started sharing my learnings about the stock market more publicly. 
 
I'm no Warren Buffett. And I’m certainly not a financial advisor. 
 
I’m a regular person who loves investing. I believe everyone can and should participate in the stock market. And you don’t need anyone to do it for you.

God gave him money but took away his peace. 


It was one of the first cases of my career before I was a full-time astrologer. 

In 2015, this man came to me for career advice. He came from a middle-class background and was doing very well in his career, making good money, but not in the right way. 

After looking at his chart, I could see that he was prioritizing money and was distracted by luxury and a rich lifestyle. I warned him clearly: "I have found some combinations in your charts that are pulling you into the wrong work. 

"You are in your Rahu mahadasha, toh aap koi galat tarikhe se paise mat kamana. Because ek baar aap ki Jupiter ki mahadasha, Saturn ki antardasha and sade sati start hogi toh woh aap ko barbad kar dega". When life is good, no one worries about future consequences and he did the same. 

Recently he came back to me for help. What happened was this:

He made good money by doing wrong deeds and became rich. But his wife was diagnosed with stage IV cancer. 

Secondly, his son became depressed at a young age. All this happened during his Jupiter and Saturn ki Antardasha and starting phase of his sade sati.

So, people who think that doing wrong to others and cheating them for personal greed is a good way to make money. I hope you learn that when God gives you something, He takes something of much higher value in return. 

Life is not all about money, it is a balance of peace and money. Lose one and you will be unhappy for the rest of your life.

I want to make sure that the content I share inspires someone to make a change for someone else or for themselves. Ever since I can remember, my dream was to play pro football. 

I thought I was going to play all the way from high school, through college, and get an opportunity to play professionally. 

I dreamed of playing in Europe, or the CFL, or even the NFL.

I was super driven. 

In my junior year at college, I played 7 games with a torn shoulder. 

In our 8th game I had a direct hit to my injured shoulder and passed out on the field.

I had surgery after our season, fully recovered and was training for my senior season.

Next thing I know, the COVID pandemic caused our season to be canceled and I had a difficult choice to make:

I could either go back to school for another year, take out a loan, and risk injury OR I could do something to completely change the trajectory of my life.

I was lost.


So I reached out to a mentor of mine, Timmy Lavelle.

On that call Timmy told me there’s 3 things everyone thinks about before they go to sleep.
 
#1 Did I hurt anyone today?
#2 Am I healthy?
And the 3rd thing people think about just before they go to bed, just before they close their eyes for the night, is their money.
 
Ever since that conversation I knew I wanted to be the 3rd thing people think about before they go to sleep.


So I started my career as a financial planner.
 
In the beginning I had no idea what I was doing.

In my first 3 months, I made $360.

I had left my career as a star football player to chase this new trajectory and all I felt was embarrassed.

This was rock bottom for me.

So I took action.

I chatted with a dozen of the best financial planners I knew.

I read everything I could on how to grow my business.

I invested in a business coach. 

In month 4, I got a few big clients and made over $25,000.

I realized I could replicate this to do so much more for not only myself but for my clients.

Make yourself invest that same amount.

→ Pay Down Debt
→ Build an Emergency Fund
→ Invest it

The easiest money to save & invest is the money you didn't even know you had.

Always calculate your net worth on an annual basis.

→ Add up all your assets

Always a good reminder to not take everything you see on social media for face value.  
 
Some people who are showing crazy lifestyles aren’t actually rich.  
 
Then there are others that you would have no idea are wealthy based on how they present themselves.  
 
That being said over the years I’ve changed my approach in the social media age.  
 
I always wanted to be low-key, frugal, and I didn’t want people knowing I was doing well… this was a mistake.  
 
Success attracts more success.  
 
When people know you’re doing well, they want to partner with you, invest with you, or work for you.  
 
It also inspires and helps people if you go about it the right way.  
 
Point is you’ve gotta show people what you’re doing.  
 
This is very different than being broke and trying to pretend like you are rich.
