I love this mental exercise for personal and professional improvement. 1. Decide what you want in all the specific areas of your life 2. Describe what it would look like if you (3rd person) were doing your best 3. Ask yourself daily if you’re doing your best or just good enough I am painfully aware when I’m not doing my “Best,” so that amplifies the painometer. I know when I’m taking the easy route and when I could give a lot more. I believe there are two main reasons I don’t always do my best. One, I don’t really know what my best would look and feel like if I did it. Two, I don’t constantly ask myself if I’m doing my best in those moments. The Exercise: Step 1: What would an ideal business/career/love life/body/health/social-life/family-life, etc look like? Ask yourself “what do I want?” in each of these areas? What’s the ideal outcome for you? What would you be proud to achieve in each? Now before I get to Step 2, I have a little trick I like to use when it comes to hacking into my own brain. I talk about myself in the third person, it makes it less personal. So instead of saying, “I would do this or that,” I rephrase it as “Brad would do this or that.” Make sense? Step 2: What would it look like if Brad Costanzo did his best… with his business? with his wife? with his friends and family? with his health and fitness? etc, etc Step 3: Both the easiest step and the hardest. When you’re in these daily situations, ask yourself if you’re doing your best. When I do it, I instantly know if I am or not. Shining a spotlight on your effort like this usually causes me to immediately course-correct and avoid the path of least resistance. That doesn’t mean I do my best in everything I can. Laziness and excuses still get me. Just not as much as they used to. And none of us will always operate at our best, but you can't hit the target if you aren't aiming for it, right?

The question is... will ya listen? At a minimum open this and use the Prompt linked to inside it and then comment below if it hit hard or not, really curious to hear if it was as powerful as it was for me. :)
Go ahead, write an article with AI. It’ll be perfect. Every rough edge smoothed away. Every quirk optimized out of existence. Perfect transitions. Perfect flow. Perfect structure. And utterly forgettable too. Millions of posts, articles, and videos are being generated with AI. Each one optimized. Each one calculated. Each one blending into a sea of sameness. But then I remembered a story from ancient Greece - a story about imperfection and resonance that changed how I think about creating in an AI world....
This is what to do when your creative debt to the world finally comes due...
“That’s good enough” vs “I’m good enough” Those statements feel pretty different, don’t they? Why? Typically, “that’s good enough” means it’s not great, it’s kind of good, not completely good, but it has enough good that we can move on, stop worrying and get to the next thing. “Good enough for government work” is a cliche with an obviously negative slant. On the other hand, most people I know struggle with feeling “I’m not good enough” to have what they want or not good enough to be doing what they’re doing and will be discovered to be incompetent! This results in feeling our dreams are hopeless AND/OR we feel like imposters who don’t deserve our success. Saying “I’m Good Enough” is a powerful declaration in personal development writing that helps to overcome self-limiting beliefs. That’s good enough: Means STOP. I’m good enough: Means GO. I never noticed the difference till I stopped and thought about the word “Satisfied”… SATISFIED… this is a fun word to play with too. How does that word feel to you? Say “I’m satisfied” Does it feel like you’re saying, “that’s good enough, no need for more”… Or does it feel like you’re saying “I’m content, I’m pleased. More would be great, but more isn’t needed?” Until I sat with this word I thought saying I’m satisfied meant relinquishing my ambition to achieve. It felt weak. It doesn’t anymore. It feels powerful. Because the actual definition is “Contented; Pleased” Nowhere does it say, “full, don’t want or can’t handle more”. Yet most people I hang around with (pretty successful folks typically) never strive or yearn for “Satisfaction”. Maybe they should. Maybe we should. The inimitable Allan Watts once said… “Increasingly, our world consists of destinations and goals, with the times and spaces in between them eliminated by jet propulsion……Consequently, there is little satisfaction in reaching the goal, since a life full of end points is like trying to abate one’s hunger by eating merely the precise ends of a banana” To me, Satisfaction doesn’t mean “that’s good enough, stop trying” It means, “I’m good enough, I’m happy, grateful and enjoy who I am, how I am and where I am. AND (not ‘but’) I’m open to, excited for and want more… without needing more.” Perhaps that statement sums up one of the core philosophies of Señor Siddhartha Gautama so many years ago. My charge to you… and one I’ll be practicing intently is saying “I’m satisfied” and feeling really good about that feeling. After all, success without satisfaction is failure. And simple-satisfaction is personal success.
I realized that most people don't know about this recent simple trick with ChatGPT that allows you to access your favorite CustomGPT's inside any ChatGPT chat thread and multiple ones sequentially. Super simple, here's how it works. Can save a ton of time and you can create some great workflows. Example is if you have a CustomGPT for multiple steps in a process of planning a marketing campaign. Start one chat thread and access the different CustomGPTs inside that without ever leaving the thread.
Who do I know that are Healthcare Practice Owners & Health Integrated Services? I'm connected with a national healthcare group that's changing how medical practices approach exit strategies. Their valuation model stands out in today's market: - Offering 6-10X gross revenue multiples (not the typical 2.5-4X EBITDA) - Exit planned for next year - Already includes 800+ practices and 1,200+ pharmacies nationwide - Practices maintain 100% equity until just before exit Most suitable for: - Primary care and specialty clinics generating $1M+ annual revenue - Chiropractors offering pain management, joint injections, or MD/DO collaborations - Practices with 10-20% adjusted EBITDA margins - Independent practices (not affiliated with hospital systems) - Value-based care models focused on quality outcomes over patient volume - Multi-location clinics or those with growth potential - Healthcare support businesses (billing, coding, auditing, HR) - Established practices considering succession planning in the next 1-3 years - Imaging centers and pharmacies seeking strategic partnerships The most compelling aspect? You can either continue practicing with improved resources or receive assistance transitioning out completely. I'm connecting interested practice owners directly with their team for confidential valuations. Message me if you'd like an introduction to discuss this opportunity.
Do this short exercise to make sure that when You leap… the Net will actually appear On a call with a client yesterday who had come down with a case of the “What-ifs.” 😨 What if the market tanks? 😨 What if a key team member leaves? 😨 What if I screw it all up? I get it, I think this all.the.time. Especially in this environment — where uncertainty is everywhere. I could feel his frustration through the phone. It’s easy to get overwhelmed by what you don’t know. Even easier to get when you realize "I have no idea how to do X" That’s when your mind starts to screech like a microphone too close to the speaker, stuck in a feedback loop. But it's really a fear loop. My advice (because I've done this): Create a “Who to Call When” List. 1. Yep, grab a piece of paper or open your note app. 2. Write down every area that feels foggy or fragile right now...where you’re unsure, stuck, or exposed. 3. Then, beside each one, jot down the name of a person OR the kind of person — you could reach out to when the moment comes. Not to solve it now... But to know you COULD! 👩🦰 a friend who picks up at 11pm. 👨 a mentor who’s walked this path before. 👨🦰 a consultant you haven’t hired yet but know you could. 🧑🏫 a peer who won’t sugarcoat it. This list becomes your NET. Practically AND emotionally. It reminds you: - You’re not flying solo. - Help is available — if you’re clear on who and when. Ever heard the delusionally optimistic quote? “Leap, and the net will appear.” The net won't just magically show up. Ya build it, one name at a time. Do this and you’ll realize — Your net, works. Get it? 😉 So... Who’s on your “Who to Call When” list? More importantly, who should be but isn't?

To the (slightly) older entrepreneurs with a young mind, big ideas but feels a little too tired to learn new tricks... You thought best days were behind you. That you couldn't keep up with technology. Wrong. Experience isn't a liability. It's your secret weapon. You've seen markets crash. Built businesses from nothing. Made tough calls when others hesitated. You know what works. The problem was never your ideas. It was the execution gap. Days spent on tasks beneath your expertise. Hours wasted fighting technology. Momentum killed by operational quicksand. Until now. AI doesn't care about your birthdate. It doesn't see your gray hair. It's not a new language you need to spend months or years learning (it's easier than you think) Better yet, the more you already know, the better your results will be. Human experience gives you an advantage when using AI. The second chance that isn't really a second chance... but a continuation of what you started. Some call it disruption. You call it liberation. What once took weeks now takes moments. What required teams now needs only you. What seemed impossible is suddenly within reach. You're not learning new tricks. You're finally being unburdened to use the old ones. The wisdom. The judgment. The pattern recognition. The business sense. Now paired with tools that eliminate friction. The entrepreneurs who will dominate aren't just the young disruptors. They're the seasoned veterans with fire rekindled. The builders who combine decades of knowledge With technology that turns thoughts into reality. This isn't your twilight. It's your renaissance. We can just do things now. You just need to want to.
