8 years ago I made the best decision of my life... I had just finished University but there was only one thing on my mind - to travel the world. I left the UK for what I intended to be a year of experiential learning, however, after nearly a decade away from my home country, the learning has never stopped. After landing in Madrid 5 years ago, I started coaching CEO- level executives using tailored business English language. Teaching was never something I was passionate about but I enjoyed the business aspect. I had business knowledge combined with teaching experience so I started my own small Business English academy with a focus on marketing and growing the business. Whilst working 10 hours a day as a Growth Marketer at Wayra, Telefonica, I spent an extra 2 hours in the evening working on my academy - Cordli. The hard work paid off. My academy doubled year on year until after 4 years, I had 100 students with one of the biggest banks in Spain. Then the pandemic hit. Another pivot. After 5 years of working in marketing and growth, I wanted to add another skill to my arsenal - sales. And what better way to do that than to work for a B2B Sales consultancy. We've developed 3 B2B Sales Courses focused on modern ways of selling and also a virtual 1:1 networking platform for sales professionals that I've personally grown to 3000+ members in 50+ countries. The journey so far has hugely influenced who I am now. I will continue to strive to discover new skills, gain new experiences, and ultimately never stop learning.
