Your eCom business runs on SOPs. But what about your “Leadership SOPs”? Most founders have created what I call a “Franken-organization”. They’ve patched together a set of best practices around leadership from: - Mismatched online resources - Lessons you’ve learned from peers - That thing a mentor told you one time It might have gotten you to where you are now. But it’s not enough to get you where you want to go. In fact, as your business grows, these “leadership systems” become the main constraint of your business. Because how you do some things is how you do everything. So every little decision you make adds up. That’s why, if you want to become a high-8-figure eCom brand, you need to build your leadership from first principles. What kind of environment do you want to create? What does your team need to operate at their peak? What values can you operate under to attract A-Players? How can you implement those at every level of the organization? It’s no accident that the most successful 8-figure brands are crystal-clear on their: - Mission - Vision - Values You don’t build them around the company. You build the company around them.
From client to author: How Daniel Bidmon scaled leadership & business Most eCom founders focus on ads, CRO, and conversion hacks—but the real game-changers? Leadership and systems. Daniel Bidmon knows this better than anyone. I had the privilege of working with him when he was scaling his eCom agency. Back then, like many founders, he was in the trenches—hustling hard but forced to work in the day-to-day 24/7. Together, we worked on: 🔥 Building a leadership mindset—stepping out of daily operations to think bigger. 🔥 Creating systems—so the business runs smoothly without micromanagement. 🔥 Scaling the right way—growing revenue while avoiding burnout. Fast forward, and Daniel isn’t just running successful brands—he’s now a published author, sharing his insights with the world. That’s what real leadership does. It frees you from the day-to-day operations and gives you the space to create, innovate, and inspire others. Huge respect for Daniel—this book will be a must-read. An eCom Founder’s guide to building an ACCOUNTABLE team: One of the biggest “time-sucks” as a founder is having everything run through you. - Approve this - Confirm that - Pick one of these Before you know it, the work day is over and now you need to start your next shift working ON the business. When you have a “tell me what to do” culture - it’s impossible to get out of this cycle. On the other hand, when you have a culture of accountability - People are engaged, proactive, and take ownership of their tasks. Freeing you from the day-to-day decisions and giving you time to work on growing the business. Not sure where to start? Here are a few quick tips: 1. Get team input ahead of time Rather than making a decision based on what you think is best, encourage others to contribute and give their opinions. When your team gets to “set the rules of the game” with you - they'll feel more ownership. 2. Outcomes - not just tasks Specific results in the business rarely come from a single task - usually it’s a combination of multiple things. So instead of dishing out “tasks” - make people accountable for “outcomes”. This is how you create a results-driven organization. 3. Don’t give everyone accountability It might seem counterintuitive, but be strategic in who you delegate accountability to. New team members, for example, might not understand your culture or expectations yet. So only give accountability to the people you’re sure can fly the flag for your brand. 4. Check-in regularly Take a few minutes every day (if possible) to check in with key team members. The goal is to maintain micro-accountability and make sure you’re working on the same vision. Small differences - over time - become huge differences. Get this right and you’ll go from spending hours every day keeping your team in check to spending a few minutes making sure everything is running smoothly. Imagine how much you could get done with a few extra hours every day…
How Doonails was able to build a self-managing, 8-Figure eCom brand: Back in 2023, I started working with Lukas Windegger, CEO & Founder of a leading manicure brand in Europe - Doonails. As a team, they were lacking clarity. - Clarity in where they want to go. - Clarity in who is accountable for what. - Clarity in how their roles would develop, long term. They had great products, they were growing fast, but as a Founder, Lukas was grinding in the daily operations and struggled to find time to simply focus on growing the company. So we got to work building: - A strong vision for the brand - A clear mission to work towards - Specific areas of accountability for everyone - A reliable way to track progress toward their goals And now? Not only is the team more engaged and aligned, but Lukas has freed up his time to focus on: - His leadership - Growing the company - Enabling his PEOPLE to grow the company They’ve built a “self-managing” organization that has been able to scale further into the 8-Figures quickly, and set them up for success as they look to scale even further. So if you’re a 7- or 8-figure eCom brand and you like the sound of the results above, I might have something for you. I’m launching something very valuable tomorrow 8th of April. Do you want to be among the early birds? Just DM me the word EARLY and I’ll send you the details.
Struggling to get your growing eCom team to agree on anything? Here’s a quick reframe that’ll help: Eliminate the word “Agree” from your vocab entirely. - “We agreed to do this” - “She agreed, so we went ahead” - “The entire team was in agreement” Just delete it. Because here’s the thing: Getting people to “agree” is easy. All it does is get people to APPROVE your solution. Which doesn’t mean everyone is truly excited about it. Instead, focus on “Alignment”. “Alignment” is getting everyone to “buy-in” to your solution. It takes a little more back-and-forth, but when someone buys into your solution - you notice. - People feel ownership over their work - They value being a part of the process - They become much more motivated to deliver They’ll be more engaged than ever before. And what does a growing eCom brand need more than anything? High levels of engagement. So remember: Your job isn’t done when people agree. You have to work until they’re aligned.
I spent 7 days in Dubai surrounded by eCom giants doing €4.2B+ in combined revenue. Here's what I learned about scaling to 8 figures: Culture is your biggest moat. I spoke with Alex Fedotoff, and he confirmed what I’ve seen in my own work—founders obsessed with ads but blind to culture and leadership will lose. Momentum isn’t luck—it’s a strategy. The fastest-growing brands don’t scale by accident. They create flywheels of execution, stack small wins, and double down before competitors notice what’s working. The bigger you get, the more you attract. The most successful founders don’t chase talent, deals, or opportunities—they attract them. But that only happens when your brand and leadership are dialed in. If you don’t build leadership into your brand, you’re already losing. I’m Leon—helping eCom founders escape the grind and lead their businesses to scale. Follow me for battle-tested leadership insights.
Why I gave away 100 hours of my time for free last year Most consultants charge for every minute of their time. I did the opposite—I gave away over 100 hours for free in 2023. Why? Because I don’t just work with any client. I work with the right ones. Here’s how I see it: - If I can help you in one call, I will. No strings attached. I believe in giving first. - If we’re not the right fit, I’ll tell you. No hard sells. No wasted time. - If we ARE the right fit, you’ll know. Because you’ll have already seen the value before exchanging a single euro. That’s why my process starts with an Audit. - We analyze the bottlenecks holding your brand back. - We break down what’s slowing your team, leadership, and systems. - And we map out a strategy that creates clarity, focus, and momentum. By the time we decide to work together, you’re fully bought in because you’ve already seen exactly how it will transform your business. No pressure. No gimmicks. Just real impact first—business second. This is why I only work with eCom founders who are serious about building real companies—not just making short-term cash. If that’s you, let’s talk. Just DM me the word AUDIT, and I'll get you the details
In January, I pitched an high 5-figure offer to a brand - and they took it immediately. 3 insights from landing my biggest client yet: 🟢 Focus On More Value - Not More Clients My goal was never to land as many clients as possible. It’s always been about adding more VALUE for the right clients. People who: - Have problems I can help with - Know the value of investing in themselves - Want to build a long-term foundation for their brand The more deeply I work with these people, the easier it is to spot new opportunities. 🟢 Solve Multiple Problems The clients I work with face 3 main problems: - Lack of clear systems that align with a brand vision - Developing leadership skills they haven’t needed until now - Turning the rest of their team into autonomous “A-Players” In the past, I’ve tried to cover all of this in a comprehensive program. But I found it lacked clarity and compartmentalization. Now I offer, 3 distinct programs to deal with each: - REMODE Framework (Foundation) - High-Performance Leader Mind Coaching - REMODE Mastery (I’ll also be introducing another program this year for smaller brands) Depending on their most pressing issues, I can offer whichever program best suits their needs. Or - like this client - they can take all 3. 🟢 Iterate Like Crazy My offers are rooted in the same principles I offered 7 years ago. But the format and structure have evolved immensely. My clients are high-performance Founders who don’t have a lot of time. So every time I work with a client: - Modules get consolidated - Redundant steps get removed - Crucial steps get expanded on I’m constantly finding new ways to streamline what I do to get my clients the best return on every hour they spend with me. — P.S. If you’re a 7-figure (or 8-figure) eCom brand and the above resonates with you, I’m offering 2 free audits this month - for brands that qualify. DM with the word “Audit” - and I’ll send you the details.
