Ola was one of the earliest Palestinian women journalists to cover Israeli wars on Gaza. She had covered 2012 Israeli war on Gaza from day one till the end, behind her camera. Her pictures are still there as evidence of the Israeli atrocities and war crimes way before the current genocide and October the 7th.

Now, she is not behind the camera anymore, Ola and her family are in front of it, without even being in a proper picture as they are all in parts 💔

جاء هذا البحث بالشراكة مع قسم طب الأسنان في المشفى ارجيس - قيصري 
وفيما يلي اسهاماتنا في البحث (الورقة العلمية) على النحو التالي:

1- انشاء قاعدة بيانات جديدة من صور البانوراما للأسنان المزروعة.
2. ترتيب وتصنيف قاعدة البيانات الى 6 أنواع وماركات عالمية من مصنعي الأسنان المزروعة.
(dentium, implance, dyna, Straumann, megagen, bilimplant)
3. تطبيق تقنيات التعلم العميق (أحدث تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي) في تصنيف وتحديد أنظمة الأسنان المزروعة.
4. وفي بحث لاحق نشرناه استطعنا الوصول لنسبة دقة تجاوزت جميع الأبحاث الأخرى 95.74%.

تعتبر هذه النسبة جيدة جدا ,ولم يسبق أن حققها أحد قبلنا، ويٌبنى عليها (بمعنى أنه يمكن تطبيق النموذج في العمليات التي يُجريها أطباء الأسنان مماتساعدهم على التشخيص السليم وبناء خطة علاجية منهجية للمريض على أسس علمية).

والجدير بالذكر أن هذا البحث هو الثالث الذي ينشر لي في هذا العام 2024 
ومن فضل الله وبركته كان نشره في شهر رمضان السابق، هو وبحث آخر يُعتبران حصيلة اسهاماتي البحثية لنيل درجة الدكتوراه.

🚀 مؤخرا طُلب مني تحليل لمشاعر الجمهور في أحد برامج الجزيرة  🚀

تم تكليفي مؤخرًا بمهمة تحليل مشاعر الجمهور لأحد البرامج المشهورة على الجزيرة. بما أني لست متخصصاً في مجال معالجة اللغات الطبيعية (#NLP)، كانت البداية مليئة بالتحديات.

لحسن الحظ، وجدت دورة تعليمية مميزة تركز على استخدام نموذج #BERT، قدمها المدرب المتميز Ari Anastassiou. وقد ساعدتني هذه الدورة على فهم عميق وتطبيق مباشر للمفاهيم.

الدورة عملية جدا وهي عبارة عن مشروع تطبيقي بـ 10 خطوات فقط:
Step 1: An introduction to some basic theory behind BERT, and the problem we will be using it to solve
Step 2: Explore dataset distribution and some basic preprocessing
Step 3: Split dataset into training and validation using stratified approach
Step 4: Loading pretrained tokenizer to encode our text data into numerical values (tensors)
Step 5: Load in pretrained BERT with custom final layer
Step 6: Create dataloaders to facilitate batch processing
Step 7: Choose and optimizer and scheduler to control training of model
Task 8: Design performance metrics for our problem
Task 9: Create a training loop to control #PyTorch finetuning of BERT using CPU or GPU acceleration
Task 10: Load in a pre-saved finetuned BERT model and evaluate its performance, and some final thoughts

Israel has killed aid workers of the UN aid agency, World Kitchen and are now perhaps targeting UNICEF - the United Nations Children's Fund. In addition Israel has also killed or injured many of the journalists in Gaza. I suspect they are now deliberately targeting James Elder, the UNICEF spokesperson who has acted as a journalist and consistently posted on the horrible situation in Gaza. 

Yesterday, James shared: “Israel has a legal obligation, under international humanitarian and human rights law, to provide food and medical supplies, and facilitate aid operations.” Along with this video: “Delays. Access restrictions. Shooting. On Tuesday, UNICEF's humanitarian convoy was hit by live ammunition on the way to deliver life-saving aid to north Gaza.

I'm going on a coordinated mission to the north of Gaza today. Coordinated mission means that we let the parties to the conflict know where we're going, at what time, so that they can meet their obligations under international humanitarian law to keep us safe. We're going to go to the Kamal Adwan hospital where we know that children are dying from malnutrition. 

Our car was hit by a few bullets. We've just got back and there's some pretty clear bullet hits here, and another one here along the window and a few others. Biggest issue today is that we didn't make it. But we're not going to give up. We're going to try again, hopefully later this week."

The main problem is the genocide and the US government’s complicity.

This week we learn of mass graves including women, children, old people. People with their hands tied behind their back, executed. I remain shocked but not surprised. We are months into extensively documented war crimes and crimes against humanity.
