🔈Audio - I usually have to record podcast adverts for The SaaS Revolution Show on a weekly basis. We decided to clone my voice on ElevenLabs now i've bought back some time.

🎥 Video - I just wrapped two hours of filming for our ReelFlow implementation which should go live on our website very soon. I gave permission for my AI Video clone which will be powered by Tavus (I believe) so that based on the real footage recorded, I can now create video content of me, in a professional studio, through text to video. Expectation is many hours saved. The examples Chris Wickson showed me of his AI clone...You couldn't really tell the difference.

This is an exciting time in software. A geek like me loves this shit.

And I love buying back time even more.

Don't worry! it wont be Attack of the clones at SaaStock Europe. The real Alex Theuma will be there.

I've put video's of me all over the SaaStock website.

I'm not an egomaniac. Hopefully those that have met me will attest to that.

I actually feel paradoxically both uncomfortable and comfortable on camera and don't particularly enjoy watching or listening to myself.

I'm not a natural yet have had 10 years of practice and put myself out there when needed.

So why do this?

There's tons of information across the SaaStock Website. A wide ranging product and program for our conferences and many use cases for different persona's to help understand if this is the right event for you.

With a short video explainer, we're aiming to help shortcut the website visitors time to decision.

This is one part.

Perhaps the most important reason is that people buy from people. Human connection is very important.

Getting to know the people behind SaaStock and making it less of a faceless organisation/event was top of mind.

With me as the guide across the website, this is a step towards helping the website visitor connect with the people behind SaaStock.

How many face to face meetings are you having per week, per month, per quarter?

Too many of 'us' are too comfortable with the efficiencies of video meetings.

Yet what we read almost daily on Linkedin is about the power of in person meetings. How they create more meaningful conversations and connections. 

We know this to be true, yet, we fall in to the zone of comfort.

Additionally, how many conference's have you been to this year where you have rocked up and relied on your networking skills and the hope of serendipity to get ROI from the event?

If you've been reading our emails and social/following SaaStock, you should know that we've been making changes to our conference program.

A big upgrade some might say.

One part of the big change, is running a Hosted Meetings and Hosted Buyer program.

It's something I'd been thinking about across 2024 and until i'd met Anil Aggarwal and Ed Akenhead, wasn't sure on the mechanism to be able to deliver this.

The mechanism is important, but the 'Why' is the most important, as always.

We wanted to better connect our Software sellers/Solution providers with Buyers that matched their ICP.

Prior SaaStock's we'd have everbody in the room. The right people. All B2B SaaS. Majority founders and C-suite. But in a sea of 3000+ people, it's not always easy to find the right people. With specific ICPs, are they coming up to your booth? Often not the case.

The old SaaStock was a bit of an 'over to you model'.
