Over the last 25 years, I had built 3 successful companies as an investment manager and real estate investor. I’ve helped many people and businesses grow their investment portfolios and increase their net worth. I'm proud of that. But I needed change. When I started my last company in 2006, I vowed I would sell it by the time I was 50 years old. I closed the deal at age 51. During Covid I had a few ideas that were new and different. But I was unsure the technology existed to make them possible. So, I went to a bootcamp for 6 months to learn how to do Python coding, all about Web3 and blockchain technology. (I needed to understand what the youngsters were learning). Now my mission is to inspire and have some significance using my lifelong passion for sports. Sports are fun! But they also can build character and life skills. The core mission of Ruley, the E-Referee is to give people an easy-to-use tool, using AI, in order to have unbiased information about sport rules and answers quickly, unbiased, and at a player's fingertips. I call it the democratization of research and information. Ruley's goal is to bring people TOGETHER through sports, and competing on the field or court during the game, not fight about a point because of lack of rules clarity.
