Youngsters get mad to see me in the gym at my age.

They notice that

~ My body is in better shape than theirs.
~ I'm more consistent with my workouts.

My goals are very different from theirs.

12 years ago, I took my life for granted.

When I was 43 years old, my life seemed perfect
(Or at least I thought so)

So I started 

Putting off important work tasks.
Overspending on things I didn't need. 
Taking breaks for vacations every month.
Sleeping in and skipping my morning routine.  

But then, month after month, I started noticing some troubling signs.

My health began to decline. 
My work performance took a hit.
My bank balance started shrinking.
I started losing some high-paying clients. 

That's when it hit me, I had taken everything for granted.

I knew I had to get my act together and start over.

It took me 10 days to realize that I still couldn’t shift from relaxation mode to fight mode.

Then I remembered a quote from David Goggins that gave me the push I needed to stand firm and fight back.

"Sometimes you need thicker skin to improve in life, and it's okay to be unkind to yourself."

So, I stood in front of the mirror and faced the reality of my situation.

I took full responsibility for the position I was in.

I made a promise to myself that I would change everything.

It became clear that I needed to work harder than ever before.

And within just one week:

✓ I closed 2 deals.
✓ I restructured my systems.
✓ I fully committed to my path with no more excuses.

This experience taught me a valuable lesson:

You have to be honest with yourself about where you are and what you need to do to reach your goals.

8 years ago, I used to feel lost.

Despite:

Earning good money.
Meeting new people every day.
Going on vacation with my family.

I still felt an emptiness inside, I never used to feel:

Then, One day I had lunch with the CEO of a big company, and he told me:

Since then, I have never felt the same.

These 5 simple daily activities changed my life:

-> Morning cycling.
-> A nutritious breakfast, lunch, dinner.
-> 2-2-2 hours of focused work sessions.
-> Interacting with my team members, family, and like-minded people.
-> Spending some "me time" at the end of the day while reading, meditating, or walking.

These activities helped me to know that:

Life hasn't been unfair to me.

2 weeks ago, I met with an accident.

Right after my birthday.

Not a physical accident, but a mental one.

The day after my birthday, I suddenly felt low.

It was like someone had drained all my energy.

August has been the most hectic month for me, both personally and professionally.

It's my birthday month
People reached out to me in bulk
Tried to connect with everyone, both offline and online.

Closed some big deals.
Had important meetings lined up. 
Managed to be present for each one.

But, in the middle of all this, I lost track of myself.

I didn’t realize that I hadn’t spent even an hour with myself all month.

I was surrounded by people, screens, deals, money, business, etc.

So, on Monday morning, I made a decision.

- I took the day off.
- Spent some time in nature.
- Made myself a great cup of coffee.
- Read books, did some journaling, and spent time with Mom.

The next day when I woke up,

I felt so refreshed and recharged.
I was full of energy and motivation.

So, here’s a little reminder for you all:

Make time for your mental health, or it will force itself into your schedule.

The choice is yours!

Something happened to me 6 months ago.

I decided to step away from work for an entire month.

Here’s how things played out:

- I lost some followers on LinkedIn
- A few deals got canceled
- My revenue dropped

But here’s what happened to me:

-> All my stress disappeared
-> I laughed harder than I had in years
-> I played games like a kid again and felt on top of the world when I won.

And you know what? I loved what happened to me.

I’m willing to accept those losses for the experiences I gained.

Because I'll recover those losses when I'm back to work, but I won't get to relive those moments if I missed them.

Sometimes, we need to step away from the hustle to truly recharge.

The clarity, happiness, and peace I found during that break were worth much more than the temporary setbacks.

I realized that if I don’t take care of myself, all the success I’m chasing won’t mean much.
