A lot of people quit their corporate job and suddenly think they can give life advice.

At 26, I was the youngest CFO in the room.

Shrink so people would “trust” me first:

In my 10-year piano exam,  I forgot 1.5 pages of the piece.

Last month, I spoke with the CEO of an NGO raising $20M in his second round.

You don’t want someone who loves you despite your imperfections. 

You want someone who loves you because of them.

You want someone who still chooses you  
when you mess up,  
when you say the wrong thing,  
when you’re not your strongest,

→ 𝘃𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 (so you stop hiding behind logic)  
→ 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 (so partnership matters more than being right)
 
It’s not easy.  
But it’s the only way love becomes real,  
not logical.

2 weeks ago, a CEO who’d been stuck on one decision for months made it in minutes — once we uncovered the real block he couldn’t see.
