Sales is easy. Getting clients to say yes is easy. Wait, what?! Well, that's what I thought. But then I realized, if you've got the wrong mindset, lack the framework, are out of practice, then sales can be stressful. It can even be painful. Especially when you really need the work and the money. That adds an extra dimension of emotions. You can't think clearly. You stumble on your words. You are lost in the sauce. Who's in charge? Where is this going? Nothing seems to flow and the call is spiraling out of control. Then, before you know it, the call is over. What just happened? Do you even have a shot of getting this project? Does that sound familiar? Is it stirring up some negative emotions?
