Customer Support can be confusing. There are so many metrics to focus on. - Average Response Time - First Contact Resolution - Customer Satisfaction Score - Net Promoter Score - Customer Effort Score There are definitely some metrics that matter more than the others. I check for these things instead: 1. Customer Feedback Quality (not just quantity) 2. Problem Resolution Speed (not just response time) 3.     Goals are selfish. We all have them.. “I want to be successful.” “I want to be rich.” “I want to travel the world.” And for a while, those goals can fuel you. There’s nothing wrong with setting goals…But when they’re only about you, they’ll eventually feel empty. Michael Phelps. Dozens of gold medals. Olympic glory. The highest level of success a human being can achieve. And he faced severe depression after Beijing. I've realized goals are just a starting point. They get you moving. But purpose is what keeps you going. No, goals aren’t bad. But if they don’t lead you toward serving someone else a person, a community, a cause they lose their weight fast. What gives our life purpose only comes from doing for another. Because real purpose isn’t found in what you get. It’s found in what you give. In using what you’ve built to lift someone else. To open a door they couldn’t open alone. That’s what service is. I still set goals. But now I ask myself different questions: Who does this serve? Whose life could this make better?
