I'm Amber, a Performance Coach dedicated to helping elite enterprise tech sellers break through their mental barriers, upgrade their habits, and skyrocket their success. With over 800 paid coaching sessions under my belt, I’ve helped hundreds of top-performing sellers to exceed their quotas and reclaim control of their workdays. I understand the unique challenges faced by enterprise tech sellers. Having climbed from a blue-collar background to the fast-paced world of tech, I've experienced imposter syndrome firsthand. I worked my way up to find myself living and working in downtown San Francisco for a unicorn tech startup. I felt like a major Imposter -- At any minute people would realize that a person with my background was not supposed to be there. One of my favorite quotes is by Ricky Gervais: “The best advice I've ever received is, 'No one else knows what they're doing either.” If other people can make it up, we can too. I came up with my own system for overcoming self doubt, and I’ve used it to help thousands of people overcome their own imposter syndrome and mindset junk. It drives me nuts to see someone with massive potential standing in their own way. I’m obsessed with finding the right tactics that work for every different kind of person. There’s nothing more rewarding for me than seeing someone break through their barriers and realize what they’re capable of. Outside of coaching, I enjoy: 🏊 Swimming 🚴 Mountain and road biking 🏃 Running 📽️ Documentaries - specifically about top performers 📚 Avid reader of non-fiction -- business and self-help 🏆 I’m a 2x State Champ: 💃 Once for Competition Dance (we won with a routine on Pogo Sticks!) 🎭 The other for the State Drama Competition - we won in Pantomime (professional hand talker) 👯 I love a good dance party 🎶 Constantly on the hunt for new music 🧠 Diagnosed with ADHD later in life 🤖 Obsessed with AI and the endless possibilities it brings My personality: ✅ Strengths Finder: Woo, Developer, Empathy, Individualization, Competition ✅ StandOut: Provider, Advisor (I can intuitively see how someone feels, and I’m a wealth of information from experts) ✅ Kolbe A: 3-3-9-4 (Simplify, Adapt, Innovate, Restore) ✅ Myers Briggs: ENFP (Enthusiastic, Creative, and Sociable Free Spirit) ✅ Enneagram: 3 - The Achiever

I spent years thinking my procrastination meant I was lazy or lacked discipline. (no thanks to my swim coach who implanted that belief in me when he said I would never amount to anything... 🙄 ) Turns out I just hadn’t discovered the right productivity style for me. When I learned I could match my workflow to how I like to exercise, everything changed. Now, tasks don’t feel overwhelming, and I get twice as much done in half the time. Here’s what worked for me: ↳ Notice how you like to exercise ↳ Replicate that rhythm in your work tasks ↳ Stop forcing yourself into methods that feel unnatural If you feel like traditional productivity hacks aren’t working for you, come join my free workshop next week to learn your unique productivity style!

I can get 8 hours of work done in less than 4. It all came down to optimizing my workday to look like my workout style. My workout style has changed in the last decade. I used to do 100 mile bike rides. (what else do you do on your weekends when you don't have kids 🤪) I also ran half-marathons, and did a handful of triathlons each year. My time to myself has SIGNIFICANTLY decreased now that I have two small kids. So I've leaned more into HIIT training, or quick bursts of Cardio. My workstyle follows that pattern too. I've always been someone who can get more done in a couple hours than most people do in an entire day. I just need quick bursts of focused time to get a LOT of work done. Do you know what your productivity style is? TODAY I'm teaching a free workshop to help you uncover your unique productivity style. We'll look at how you like to exercise to uncover clues about your unique productivity style. This is your last call! We start in a few hours! Come to my free workshop, and we'll build your perfect system together: https://lnkd.in/eB_2z7dz

I'm nerding out on AI automations. 🤓 I'm automating a lot of the backend admin work in my business. I'm using Zapier + My Task Manager + Prompting ChatGPT to get the necessary work. ....But I'm still nervous about fully automating it, so I'm adding checkpoints for myself to review everything before it's completed. Is anyone else toying with automating AI? I'd love to connect.

My clients are getting 2 hours back every day. Over the last 2 years, I’ve honed a process that I call: Work like you Workout. I realized that people like to expend energy mentally the same way that they like to physically. So I started quizzing my clients about how they like to exercise to get clues about what their workday productivity should look like. I found that my endurance athletes benefitted from more upfront planning, and then hours of deep work to execute. That matches exactly what it’s like to run a marathon, or do a 100-mile bike ride! You have to make all the plans in advance, and then you spend hours just cranking out the work. I found that my sellers who liked interval training (CrossFit, HIIT, Circuit Training, etc…) wished that they could do hours of deep work, but they were terrible at it. Which makes perfect sense when you think about it. These people need less time planning, and they execute in short intense bursts. I found that these sellers can get more done in a few hours than most people do in a whole day. But they need short bursts of focus, and breaks in between are the essential missing ingredient. I’m going to run a workshop teaching sellers this process. Click the link in comments to sign up!

Truth time: hustling harder doesn't win enterprise deals. When you are in mid-market, commercial, or SMB, more hours equals better results. But when you get into Enterprise and Strategic sales, you can't hustle your way into better resuls. So here's what happens: as you move into enterprise and strategic selling, hard work needs to transform into smart work. The game changes, and so must your approach. It’s less about the hours and more about how you're spending them. What no one tells you is that thinking time becomes a superpower. You need space to strategize and innovate to close those big deals. Here’s a few simple ways to shift your mindset and work style: ↳ Dedicate a part of your day solely to deep thinking. You need those creative breakthroughs. ↳ List out your tasks based on impact, not just urgency. Focus on what brings the biggest results. ↳ Automate or outsource routine tasks to free up mental bandwidth. ↳ Protect your downtime. It’s crucial for maintaining long-term productivity and creativity. ↳ Regularly review your progress. Look for activities you can streamline or eliminate. Ready to rethink your approach to strategic sales? Reach out for personalized 1:1 coaching.

My client was spinning his wheels trying to imitate colleagues who thrived on rigid schedules. He finally shared with me that strict planning felt suffocating to him. Once we gave him permission to drop the "shoulds," he designed his workday around themes (just like his gym days). He became the top seller in his region that quarter and worked fewer hours. Your personal productivity plan shouldn’t feel restrictive, it should energize you.

I used to feel stuck because I constantly compared myself to "highly productive" gurus. Their routines never worked for me, and I always blamed myself. Then I realized my energy patterns were entirely different from theirs. I stopped forcing myself into their mold and built a system around my strengths instead. Now productivity feels effortless, and I’m happier than ever. If you’re ready to build a productivity system around YOU, join my free workshop here:

I grew up in poverty, homeschooled, without a high school diploma. When I got my six-figure tech job, I felt like an imposter every day. The turning point was realizing my value was exactly who I was, not who I thought I had to be. That applies to productivity too. You don’t have to mimic someone else’s system to succeed. Embrace your uniqueness and thrive because of it. I'll teach you exactly how in my free workshop (THIS WEEK!). Sign up at

I remember being in seventh grade. Dragging my feet on what felt like an impossibly long walk to school. I was engulfed in that classic pre-teen angst, feeling sorry for myself, when I passed an elementary school. Out of nowhere, a woman stepped out of her car, smiled, and said hello. That was it. She probably had no idea how much that small act changed my day. I felt seen. Important, even. Her simple, generous energy shifted everything for me. Here’s what no one tells you about energy: it’s contagious. The energy you bring into a room, or a call, or even a casual interaction, it spreads. When you’re caught up in needing something to happen, feeling that everything hinges on the outcome, your energy becomes scarce. And people can feel that. It makes them pull back. But if you come from a place of calm and generosity, people open up. They gravitate toward you. So how do you harness this in your own life? Some quick tips: ↳ Before each call, take a moment to breathe and reset. Let go of the outcome. ↳ Visualize the interaction going well. Imagine the person on the other end feels valued. ↳ Instead of worrying about what you need to say, focus on listening deeply. ↳ Ask yourself: how do I want the other person to feel after we talk? ↳ Check in with your own energy regularly. Is it scarce or generous? A small shift in your energy can have a big impact on your connections. Follow me for more reflections on maximizing your energy and mindset in sales.

I used to spend so much energy proving my worth through one achievement after another. Each milestone felt like a tick on a scoreboard that temporarily boosted my self-esteem. But as soon as the thrill faded, I was back to square one, searching for the next win. Then I took a leisurely walk among some magnificent trees and something shifted. It dawned on me: Trees don't hustle for validation or compete with their neighbors. They grow simply because that's what they’re meant to do. Here’s what happens: We often equate our value with our accomplishments, driven by the need to impress or outdo others. This relentless pursuit for approval can lead to burnout. But guess what? Just like trees, we're designed for growth. Natural, authentic growth. It doesn't have to be a constant struggle. So how can we grow like trees? Check in with yourself: ↳ Are your goals truly your own or borrowed from others’ expectations? ↳ Prioritize growth in areas that align with your passions. ↳ Allow joy and curiosity to guide your way instead of pressure and comparison. ↳ Take moments to simply be. Growth doesn’t mean constant hustle. Remember, growth is part of who you are, not something you have to prove. Do you want to explore more about growth mindsets? If you are a weightlifter, I have an easy technique that can 5x your productivity. A lot of my sellers' preferred workouts are weightlifting. We've found that this technique resonates with their natural energy management: If you have a theme for each day of the week, try mimicking that in your workday. For example: - If Monday is Leg day, Tuesday is Arm day, etc... Then try: - Monday: Admin/Planning day - Tuesday: Outbound - Wednesday: Follow-ups - Thursday: Outbound - Friday: Networking - (or whatever focus makes the most sense for your sales cycle) If you're someone who works well with a theme,  Try replicating that in your workweek. TOMORROW I'll be teaching a workshop with everything to Work like you Workout. We'll cover all the diagnosis and techniques to build out your own effortless productivity. It's filling up fast. You aren’t wrong if you can’t do 2 hours of deep work every day. Many sellers haven’t optimized their day for their particular Energy Management style. I have a process I call: Work like you Workout. I’ve been using it with my clients for the last few years and they have gotten some amazing results. - They are more fulfilled and satisfied at the end of the day - They are working less hours - They are closing more quota than ever before The problem is that most sellers are trying to be something they are not. They are trying to do hours of deep work, but that’s not a good fit for their style. Or conversely, they are spreading themselves too thin in too many areas – as someone who works best with uninterrupted focus time. I want to teach more sellers how to reduce the friction in their workday, so I’m running a 1-hr workshop in a couple weeks. In this workshop I’ll teach you: - How this process works - An in-depth assessment to find your productivity style - Live coaching to get your process honed in Check the link in comments to join!

I tried time blocking religiously for a month and failed miserably. Turns out, my inner rebel hates rigid scheduling and being told exactly what to do every hour. Instead, I created something I call "TimeBoxing 2.0," where I: ↳ Block off admin time each day ↳ Decide in advance how long I'll spend on any given task ↳ Give myself freedom within structure If rigid productivity systems make you crazy too, you'll love what I'm teaching in my free workshop next week. I’m going to keep saying it until I’m blue in the face. You aren’t lazy. You aren’t a procrastinator. You just need to break down your tasks smaller. ✌️

One of my clients used to work 12-hour days and still missed quota. He loved golf. He loved the short bursts of intense focus with breaks in between. We used that insight to reshape his workday around short bursts of high-value activity, with intentional breaks for reflection and connection. He ended the year at 195% of quota and worked half the hours. (and hit up the driving range every day after work) Want to unlock your personal productivity code too? I just had the MOST FUN with all the people who came to my workshop (including my cold sore that showed up 🤣). It’s so rewarding to be with high performers who are willing to be vulnerable and share. I love giving people permission, and helping them drop the “shoulds,” and helping them accept themselves. Yall don’t even understand how much gold there is inside of you. You are brilliant just as you are. Let me help you see and uncover that! Thanks to everyone who came!!

In my early twenties, I could work endlessly. But after having kids and running my business, that energy vanished. I worried my biggest career wins were behind me. Then I discovered energy management instead of time management. By matching my mental tasks to how I naturally expend physical energy, I’ve had my best career years yet. And without burnout! Let’s uncover your peak productivity plan too.
