A people connector mixing demand generation, growth marketing, product marketing, sales and partnerships, and brand marketing able to start a growth department from scratch or suggest adjustments for growth. A player-coach tasked with building a machine, usually as the first marketing hire. I bring years of SaaS and software experience as a well-rounded marketing communications, advertising, public relations, business development, sales and branding executive. I was recruited to lead or start those areas for a SaaS cybersecurity startup, Top 5 plastics distributor, Top 50 independent insurance agency and as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for a global education technology startup. For over 22 years, I’ve managed digital and traditional marketing and public relations campaigns, email marketing and omnichannel marketing programs and business development. I built ABM programs before it was called ABM, creating custom growth and marketing tools like trackable landing pages and sales collateral for key accounts, securing a $4 million deal from ABM efforts. I've formalized both B2B and B2C growth plans and digital marketing strategy, aligned with CRM platforms (Salesforce, SAP, Highrise) marketing automation (Hubspot, Pardot), content marketing and digital advertising. I wrote and produced national television and radio commercials, executed social media strategies, managed search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click marketing (SEM), oversaw focus groups and marketing research, planned and placed digital and traditional media buying and sponsorships, facilitated trade show lead generation and more. I possess advertising agency and client-side experience and creativity across categories including: manufacturing, higher education, insurance, healthcare, government, startups, banking, energy, CPG, retail, franchising, professional sports and more. I've recently been recognized as a Top 50 B2B Marketing Influencer to Follow, was selected to judge the world's largest startup competition 43North, the international-recognized Stevie Awards and the B2B Twitterer of the Year Awards. I've been fortunate to speak at international conferences, am a AAF Buffalo past president, WNY's American Advertising Federation's affiliate. As an adjunct professor, I taught Integrated Marketing Communications courses at St. Bonaventure University. I'm passionate about philanthropy, consultation and event planning, including co-chairing the District II ADDY Awards and setting up my own fundraiser, the Buffalo Scavenger Hunt, benefiting Camp Good Days.
