Friday Thoughts 💭 A design recruiter’s inbox is never empty. Just when you think you’ve cleared it… you click “unread” and suddenly you’re staring at hundreds of messages again. This is the side of recruitment that designers and clients don’t get to see the admin chaos that comes with managing multiple roles, urgent client needs, and staying responsive to every talented candidate in your network. Between scheduling, writing briefs, following up, chasing feedback, and juggling 10 different priorities at once… things can slip through the cracks. And that’s not from a lack of care.... Friday Thoughts 💭 Unpopular opinion? Sustainability is starting to feel more like a global trend than a personal driver for the companies championing it. What does drive me as a Design Recruiter is working with organisations that genuinely invest in design not just when things are going well, but especially when things get tough! The companies I'm most interested in don’t just talk about design as a differentiator they show it. They prioritise design talent, embed it into their strategy, and protect it through uncertainty.
