You don’t have to look very far to see the disconnection in the world. Companies who see employees as disposable cogs in the machine rather than their secret weapon to increasing profits and keeping happy clients Executive leaders or professional service providers whose identity is more about their job title than the value they can bring to their clients or community. Entrepreneurs who are struggling to find the right clients when their message doesn’t connect and trust has not been established. Company founders planning an exit strategy to sell their business with more energy invested in “running from it” than "running to" their next chapter. LinkedIn thought leaders who only post expertise content and are no longer connecting with their audience Business leaders: At 35 asking “is this all there is?”.... At 45 realizing “I’m successful but there has to be more purpose to what I’m doing.” At 55 leaning into their wisdom, “I want to make a difference by impacting others.” What do all of these have in common? They experience a craving or a need to bring their humanity back to business. As artificial intelligence continues to evolve, we need to hold on to what makes us unique. As the current state of the world is on a track to distract us and cause greater separation, we have the opportunity to not buy into the fear, turn off the noise, and instead choose to do good. The way to counteract this is a call back to our humanity. It’s a celebration of how we can be the light in the darkness. When chaos ensues,”Look for the helpers.” As a 3rd-generation entrepreneur I understand the desire to build our businesses by solving problems. We do this best by bringing our brilliance to our work. I’ve spent 25+ years advising professional service providers who desire a trusted authority brand position. They struggle to know how to develop a business around who they are and the right words to use when big opportunities appear. I do this by introducing companies to a tool that will identify and measure why employees are disengaged and give them a prescription and plan on how to fix it. With individuals, I guide clients through a transformational experience that creates a personal brand of integrity.
