Learning when to be "hard" and when to be "soft" with people is a never ending education Like I wanted to yell at someone and point out all the reasons why That wouldn't help my client or get me what I want, so in this case it's "my mistake" and we move on Don't assume that just because someone is being quiet, or accommodating that they aren't a coiled tiger ready to pounce It's more likely that they just know when to expend, and when to conserve that energy

It's always DNS Kudos to Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy for identifying and fixing so quickly
I’ve been testing algorithms on social networks Here’s the secret I discovered that they don’t want you to know You get to choose what you want to see Don’t like your feed? Change who you’re following, what you watch, what you like. In a couple hours it’s a brand new world
Ever hear the phrase “work on the business, not in the business” It took me years to figure this one out, but I found a simple hack (no it wasn’t EOS) It’s all about the time horizon If you’re working on something needed for today (or a customer deliverable) you’re “in” the business If you’re working on something needed next month, quarter, or year you’re “on” the business Start small and push your due date out ;)
I love it when a Sales Engineer (who’s obviously never operated their own platform) starts talking down to me on a call I always wonder what they’re like if the customer is female - sometimes it’s a battle to not lose my sh*t on the call Buddy I know more than you
$36 in taxes and fees on a $53 dollar ticket Totally normal and appropriate right? This nonsense has to end Ticketmaster StubHub

Project management tools are a scam - Google Sheets and Docs (or Excel and Word) beat every app every time. Fight me.
I’ve struggled for years trying to use an iPad instead of a laptop when traveling Being able to carry less weight, smaller form factor, better battery, built in cellular, no additional accessories, etc... would be amazing The iPad just always fell short for me and until recently I couldn’t figure out why - if you’ve had the same problem this might be the post for you! The answer is so basic I’m annoyed I didn’t figure it out sooner - just stop using/delete the apps off the iPad and use the websites instead Gmail on the iPad... sucks! But Gmail via Safari is THE SAME as your computer!!! I loose the Chrome extensions but that is so minor I don’t even notice. The point is being able to unplug and go somewhere with focus - I’m intentionally not bringing my laptop because I don’t want access to everything, I want a simple device and a change of pace And yes, this was typed on my iPad in a coffee shop using the website - and as an added bonus I forgot my phone at home :)
I'm so mad! This meeting should have been an email... Took two days to schedule, five people on the call, and literally an update (good news) that could have just been an email Just a reminder - your value is not measured by how many meetings you have
If your accountant is sitting next to me at the coffee shop I’ve got good news or bad news... They’re strung out on adderall/coke and sucking down espresso like it’s water You’re about to get the best return of your life or a heart attack
