I started leveraging video in my outbound as an SDR. I immediately started booking meetings with C-suite executives from enterprise companies. It helped me stand out as an SDR and led to my AE promotion! Since I could unlock the highest priority accounts using video, I was granted access to sell into the enterprise. After that, I landed the first AE GTM role at deel. I was responsible for bringing the MM/ENT Global Payroll to market. I leveraged video to sell at scale, educate my team, and curate video libraries throughout the sales cycle. Throughout my sales career, I've helped generate over 15 million in revenue through the power of video. Im currently the Head of Sales at Sendspark, which helps you send personalized videos at scale with the help of Ai voice cloning, lip syncing and dynamic backgrounds. In January 2024, I launched my Pop-up Content Events Company and Sales & GTM Coaching l, MelissaGaglione LLC. I hosted the first B2B multi-sponsor content house (SCKO) paired with a 2X sold-out Yacht Networking Event for the local community. I leverage my previous teaching and news reporting skills to curate a fun, research-driven sales process. I aim for prospects to walk away more knowledgeable and feel they can accomplish their goals.

Balance looks different for everyone. For me, it's about balancing the professional hustle with moments that truly fuel my soul. This birthday weekend, I'm putting the laptop away and reconnecting with my college friends ❤️ The ones who don’t know me as sales or LinkedIn Melissa. Fresh air. Endless laughter. Deep conversations. I've found that my best professional insights often come after I've stepped completely away… when I've given my brain the space to breathe and my heart the chance to remember why I do what I do. As the years pass, I'm learning that building a sustainable career isn't just about achieving more… it's about preserving the relationships and experiences that make the journey worthwhile. Happiness is the journey not the destination ⭐️ What's your favorite way to disconnect and recharge?

Teaching 3rd grade prepared me for remote B2B selling better than any sales training. Here are 3 classroom techniques that transformed my daily workflow: 1. Timers for focused blocks In classrooms, timers create structure and prevent burnout. Now I use the Pomodoro technique (25 min work/5 min break) for prospecting, coaching, plannning and call prep.. etc 2. Eisenhower Priority Matrix As a teacher, I prioritized dozens of competing student needs daily. That same matrix now organizes my pipeline: Do it now Do it later / schedule it Delegate it Delete it 3. Call planning (like lesson planning) Before every call, I have notes with objectives for the specific call, key questions, and potential objections. What techniques from your past have you brought into selling?? How do you stay productive?

Stop waiting for your company to buy the tools you need. I've personally brought 3 essential tools as an individual contributor into my sales orgs by following a straightforward approach: I buy it myself first, prove the ROI, then get the company to adopt it. So what is your biggest challenge that a tool can solve for? For example, is your data quality killing your outreach effectiveness? You can purchase a FullEnrich individual license for $29. After 30 days, you'll share your findings with leadership: Most experience: - Connect rates up 3X - 70% fewer bounced emails - 4 hours saved weekly - 22% pipeline growth You'll present these numbers to leadership and be seen as a problem solver. Best part is most companies will either comp your tool or purchase for the org! The best sellers don't wait for perfect conditions. They create them. Take initiative, invest in yourself, and use the results to drive change. What tool have you personally brought into your organization?

Actual sales hack that works: AI chatting with your book of business. Stop researching your accounts. Start asking them questions instead. I used to spend 45+ minutes per account before important sales calls. Opening multiple tabs, reading annual reports, scouring LinkedIn profiles, trying to piece together a coherent story before my meeting. The results? Surface-level insights that any competitor could find with equal effort. Using Aomni AI to chat with my book of accounts has completely transformed my approach: “ Aomni, what technology initiatives is Company X prioritizing this year?” “Aomni, who are the key decision-makers for marketing tech and what’s their background?” “Aomni, summarize their recent earnings calls and highlight pain points” Want to stop drowning in tabs and start having the kind of conversations that actually move deals forward… You can try Aomni today

Little Friday jokes I promise I’m not actually like this in my 1:1 meetings. But Jupiter is back babbyyy!! What are things millennial managers doo?

If you are feeling ~off~ today you don’t have to “just push through it"… but if you want to feel better do these 3 steps 👇🏼 1. Journal your current state • Write out exactly how you're feeling • Document any emotions or thoughts coming up • Don't filter… just release onto paper • Spend 3-5 minutes maximum 2. Get your body moving • Stand up and shake it off • Do 25 jumping jacks • Add 20 push-ups • Get that heart rate up to release physical tension 3. Rewrite your desired state • Start with "Today I want to feel _____" • Write 3 specific actions to achieve that feeling and do those 3 things Ex: If you want confidence, maybe it's reviewing your wins, power posing for 2 minutes, and calling your best friend Personally motivational quote sometimes makes me more off and unhinged 😂 But taking a tactical reset that addresses both emotional and physical states… chefs kiss 😘 It’s ok to feel a off but know that we don’t have to fight through it we can change it. What's your go-to method for resetting?

I went from first-time SDR to Enterprise AE in 12 months at a publicly traded company… Here is how 👇🏼 Honestly it’s wild that I did that 🤯 Most people assume I just crushed my call metrics. But the real accelerator? I understood business impact while others focused on activity. My approach was radically different: • While peers were counting dials, I was studying my ICP’s pain points and industry challenges • While others memorized call scripts, I immersed myself in market trends and competitive shifts • While most stopped at booking meetings, I joined AEs on discovery calls, demos, and pricing discussions • While teammates celebrated meetings booked, I tracked deals through the entire sales cycle • While others relied on templates, I crafted custom business proposals tied to specific outcomes Here’s what nobody tells entry-level sales professionals: The fastest path to promotion isn’t just exceeding your KPIs… it’s demonstrating you can already perform at the next level. I wasn’t just an SDR who could book meeting. I was an SDR going for AE outcomes. …. What can you do today to perform at the next level? Ps: this is a thumbnail of a typical video pitch I’d send C-Suite at enterprise companies to book the meeting in 1 touch.

I decided to charter a yacht for LinkedIns B2B professionals... again 🫣 I'll be honest – organizing B2B ON THE BAY for the second time is terrifying. But here's why I can't stop: - I've witnessed how much our community craves authentic connection beyond LinkedIn messages - I've seen deals happen when people let their guard down in a relaxed setting - I've heard countless stories about how last year's sunset sail changed career trajectories So join us on May 23, 2025, as we set sail on the StarShip Yacht in Tampa at 5:30 PM! Your ticket includes: - Community Slack with optional networking events Thursday-Saturday - Access to our three-floor yacht with rooftop deck - Premium open bar (yes, the good stuff) - Gourmet passed appetizers + buffet dinner - Live DJ spinning the perfect networking soundtrack - Discounted hotel accommodations Last year, we sold out TWICE. Don't miss your chance to be part of something special. (Link in bio & comments) PS: Tag someone below who needs to be there – let's make waves together!

The easiest way to generate LinkedIn leads… No cold DMs. No content creation. Just strategic engagement. Here's how: The G.E.M method ⭐️ 1. GROW - Comment on 5 posts from ideal prospects daily Don't pitch… add value that shows your expertise 2. ENGAGE - with 5 thought leaders daily Join conversations where your prospects already hang out 3. MAGNIFY - Interact with 5 supporters daily Turn followers into advocates who expand your reach Do this consistently for 30 days and watch what happens. Don't track likes… Focus on profile visits and direct inquiries. Sometimes the best LinkedIn results don't come from creating the most content, but from engaging in the right places. Does this sound easier than posting?? What's holding you back?

Today I am officially transitioning to 100% MM manager… let me explain 👇🏼 When I joined Warmly, as a Senior Sales Manager, I stepped into what quickly became a player-coach role. In just one month, I was onboarding, hiring two additional reps, and having the highest MM quota, all with the goal of proving that we can go upmarket. Learning how we win What do we need to build? Where are we weak in our sales process? I won’t sugar-coat it… Being an AE while simultaneously building and trying to support a team while going upmarket was HARD. I found myself constantly torn between growing my pipeline and being present for my reps. The guilt was real. Every time I couldn’t jump on a quick huddle or had to redirect a question because I was working on my deals, I felt like I was letting someone down. What kept me going? First, my reps ❤️ Their understanding, compassion, and encouragement were truly endless. Second, staying true to my values. I never took deals from my reps. I showed up as encouragingly as possible, even on days when I felt depleted by my challenges. Third, I was getting somewhere. I kept researching, learning, and identifying where we win, where we lose, and what features we need to build to succeed in our target segments. But the split focus was taking its toll, and the guilt was taking over. So I doubled down on my meditations, journaling, and mental health. And then the market was proven 👏🏼 That’s why I couldn’t be more thrilled about this transition. I can finally live my purpose without compromise… helping others win. Plus… now I’m feeling confident! With the market knowledge I’ve gained and the deals I’ve closed, I’m ready to lead with both empathy and strategy. To my amazing team… you inspire me and I am so excited to dedicate 100% of my focus to helping you win and grow. Let’s go girls ✨ Chelsea Wyles Marissa Massaro Gabrielle Stott (Sales Shark 🦈) Katherine Barnes (Sales Khaleesi) 🐉 Kelly Brannan

"You manage an all-women sales team going up-market? sounds like a lot of drama" Yet here we are, crushing mm -> enterprise deals at our Series A startup - Warmly, Going upmarket brings unique challenges: Tougher technical objections Longer, more complex sales cycles Multiple stakeholders with competing priorities But my team is CRUSHING IT and hitting records together! In March, Warmly grew by 22.24% to a total of $3.6M ARR. While traditional sales teams with these goals of going upmarket often create internal competition and high stress... we've built something more powerful. ✨ genuine collaboration ✨ Built both in Zoom and in-person connections. 🌎 In December, we were in Scottsdale, where we spent quality time building friendships and designing our cowgirl hats! 🌎 January, we were in Austin for a company on-site, and we collaborated on going up-market. 🌎 February, two of my reps flew to Mexico to work and surf together. 🌎 Next week, I'm heading to Denver and taking my new reps to brunch, and one is flying in from Seattle. 🌎 In May, some reps are coming to Tampa for the b2b yacht networking event. 🌎 Then, in June, we are in San Fran for the company on-site to work in person. Also --- we aren't telling people they need to travel to all of these (just the 2X a year company on-sites) ..... my team just genuinely enjoys spending time together This isn't a "work family" That term has always felt like corporate manipulation to me. This is women supporting women and enjoying the time we have together. And it's the team I've always dreamed of 🌟 So thank you to an incredible team - I am SO HAPPY to be managing this incredible group of sales stars. To $10M we go 🚀 Katherine Barnes (Sales Khaleesi) 🐉 Marissa Massaro Gabrielle Stott (Sales Shark 🦈) Chelsea Wyles Kelly Brannan

I said “Be a pitbull, not a golden retriever" to my sales team. Which one are you? Let me explain Golden retrievers: • Naturally eager to please everyone they meet • Will fetch the same ball 100 times without hesitation • Rarely show selectivity… they're happy with any attention Golden retrievers in sales: • Chase every prospect regardless of qualification • Build elaborate proposals for companies with no budget • Discount at the first sign of price objection • Exhaust themselves on low-probability opportunities Is this you?? Pitbulls: • Intensely loyal but selective with their affection • Stubborn when they know what they want • Won't play fetch just because you asked them to • Focus their energy where they see genuine reciprocity Pitbulls in sales: • Qualify ruthlessly before investing significant time • Establish and maintain clear boundaries with prospects • Stand firm on value rather than discounting reflexively • Walk away confidently from poor-fit opportunities • Invest deeply only where they see genuine buying intent The golden retriever approach feels productive.. you're always busy! But it leads to burnout and disappointing results. The pitbull approach feels uncomfortable at first… you're saying no more often. But it creates a focused pipeline of qualified deals and respects your most valuable asset: time. When I first started in sales I was the golden retriever… but then I got pitty 🐶 And just to make it fun… I’m curious… What breed best represents your sales approach? Lmk

STOP randomly engaging on LinkedIn if you are trying to generate B2B leads. I see too many B2B professionals spending hours commenting and connecting with zero strategy, then wondering why they aren’t generating inbound leads. Do this instead: 1. Focus exclusively on your ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) These are the decision-makers who actually have the problem you solve. Engage authentically with their content, ask thoughtful questions, and demonstrate understanding…. not pitching. 2. Cultivate relationships with influencers in your customers’ space These thought leaders shape how your buyers think. By thoughtfully engaging with their content, you position yourself within their ecosystem and borrow their credibility. 3. Nurture your engaged community These supporters amplify your voice. Respond quickly to their comments, acknowledge their contributions, and create a reciprocal relationship that expands your reach. The main reason your LinkedIn engagement isn’t generating leads is because you’re spreading yourself too thin. Save your time, laser-focus your engagement, and solve the root problem. Quality connections with the right people will always outperform quantity of random interactions. PS: Tomorrow I’ll be sharing how you can fill your funnel at pclub.io webinar! Link in comments

This is what it looks like to be functional but faded… Moving through the motions Still getting stuff done Pushing success But “blah” Until I decided to pull myself up. Focused on meditation, journaling, walks, foods… just building my foundation. Have you ever felt this way? How do you pick yourself back up?

I received the most incredible bday gift from Zach Young 🌟💎 - my incredible agent & business partner! Zach started messaging me a year ago on LinkedIn. He shared his portfolio of expertise and desire to break into B2B as a seller. After many messages and a zen garden kit… I said to Zach - can you help me with all these brand partnerships? Little did I know I was unlocking natural talent. He is strategic. He is a self-starter. He is absolutely brilliant. Since then he’s worked with multiple brands and creators. Truly exemplifying class, strategy, and operational excellence. Creating an incredible bridge between agent & brand for successful partnerships. And as gorgeous as this gift is… it truly symbolizes the growth and accomplishments he’s achieved since that first prospecting message. He’s truly changed my life ⭐️ Take a “chance” on your LinkedIn network. And if you're going for it... Send that message and go for it like Zach. You are one message away from changing your life.

This isn't "my life is perfect" birthday post... It is actually "this sh*t isn't easy and this year I'm just trying my best" post. As I turn 31 today, here's what I don't typically share: The 3am anxiety spirals of if I am good enough The pile of laundry that my husband helps me with The job pivot that felt like free-falling for six terrifying months The relationship balance of scaling a side hustle and full-time role That's the uncomfortable reality behind curated online personas... It seems as perfect as this picture. My most significant achievement turning 31 isn't another big milestone... It's finally releasing the guilt I've been carrying. Accepting that success includes setbacks Acknowledging that growth is messy, not linear Recognizing that removing guilt about imperfection makes me happier The most valuable gift I've given myself this birthday? Permission to release guilt. It isn't always perfect. Just going to try my damn best. What is 1 thing you learned this year?

I was 25 and embarrassed that I had burned through two careers (teaching & on-air news reporting) 99% of my followers don't know this about me... I started as an elementary school teacher, became a CBS news reporter, and then moved to event sales before finding my way to B2B SaaS. But it wasn't because I couldn't commit: I was collecting experiences, not just paychecks I was building a unique skill stack no one else had I was discovering my strengths through trial and error So I "failed" at having a straight career path. Then I found B2B sales and stuck to it for years. I liked the challenge, I committed to the process, and eventually found success. For months, I felt "behind" my peers who had been in tech since graduation. But I persisted. Then a sales leader said something that changed everything: "Your teaching background is why you explain your product better than any other rep I've met." That's when I realized my seemingly scattered past wasn't a liability... it was my superpower. Now, I confidently lead a women's b2b SaaS sales team, knowing that my unique path equipped me with skills others don't have. Stop seeing career pivots as failures. And don't be afraid to pivot to figure out what you like. Your greatest strength might be hiding in your "messy" background. What advice would you give someone who is afraid to try a new career or start over?

8 months ago, I lost my sparkle ✨ From the outside, everything looked perfect. I’ve been functional but faded. And no.. - It wasn’t because I wasn’t succeeding professionally - It wasn’t because I lacked supportive people around me - It wasn’t because anything traumatic happened It was a quiet dimming of my inner light that happened so gradually, I didn’t notice until I was deep in the haze. Despite showing up every day with a smile, I was holding onto guilt, feeling lost, and moving through life like I was underwater. In fact, over the past 8 weeks of intentional recovery: - I’ve recognized how much my physical habits impact my mental state - I’ve rediscovered the power of spiritual practices I’d let slip away - I’ve rebuilt my foundation of self-care that makes everything else possible The truth? I’ve been “blah” most days. Just going through the motions. Feeling defeated even while achieving outward success. I stopped eating the way I know works for my body. Skipped workouts that used to be non-negotiable. Let my meditation cushion gather dust. Closed my journal for days at a time. My rhythm was off, and I didn’t realize how much it was affecting me until I found myself staring at my reflection one day and barely recognizing the energy looking back at me. You know that feeling when you’re excelling but not enjoying? So I made a decision to pull myself back up. Every night: 15 minutes of meditation and self reflection journal and manifestation. Every other day: Long walks without distractions, just noticing the world around me. Every meal: Choosing foods that fuel me rather than comfort me. The real win isn’t just feeling better. It’s reclaiming the energy that makes me effective in the first place. So if you’re in a similar place “functional but faded” know you’re not alone. The sparkle isn’t gone. It’s just waiting for you to create space for it again. What practices help you reconnect with yourself when you’ve lost your way?
