Taking an Amazon Brand from $500K/month sales but breaking even… to $100K/month in profits. At GNO Partners we work with 150+ Amazon brands, over 600 consulting calls every month. The goal? Amazon Sellers: The new tariffs just made this one move a no-brainer. Before I sold my two brands, 47% of our trailing 12-month profit came from non-US Amazon marketplaces. Yet 69% of sellers still operate in just ONE marketplace (source: Marketpulse). That’s absurd. You already built a strong brand presence—reviews, listings, supply chain. Why not leverage it? With all the new tariffs on Chinese imports, US-only sellers are feeling the squeeze. Those who expanded? They're built better to navigate through the storm. If I were still selling only in the US, I’d block 3–5 hours this week and do this: • Start with Canada & the UK – same language, faster setup • Type your main KWs. Research sales & reviews in your niche • If you see solid volume, start planning to expand. • Then test Germany, other EU marketplaces, and Japan. • Only launch your top-performing products first. • Tier 2–3 products can come after you get some wins. Many Amazon sellers ignore this, yet it’s the #1 factor for organic ranking on Amazon. At GNO Partners, we're working with over 150 Brands that sell on Amazon. We focus on one thing: growing long-term profits. To grow long-term profits, one of the most effective ways is to increase organic sales. To increase organic sales, you need to rank higher on more keywords. What’s the #1 KPI for organic ranking on Amazon? 👉 Conversion rate ( = CVR). If your CVR is lower than your competitors on a keyword, you’ll struggle to climb the rankings. So if you’re not constantly improving your conversion rate, you’re limiting your growth. Here are 5 CVR boosters we use all the time: • Add a List Price to enable Strike-Through Pricing • Launch a cheaper variation with higher CVR • Optimize your listing for mobile users • Run Lightning or Best Deals to get their badge • If possible, move to a similar category to grab the Best Seller Badge Each of these can directly boost your CVR → increase organic ranking → grow profits. Amazon Sellers: 145% tariffs are here. But this might turn into an opportunity. Many sellers are panicking—pausing launches, cutting spend, and slowing down. But we’ve been here before... In 2020, container prices jumped 5–10x. Looking back, the best decision was simple: • Accept a few months of lower profits • Keep pushing forward • Use the chaos to take market share Those who did came out stronger once the dust settled. This tariff saga feels similar. No one knows how long it’ll last. But assuming the worst locks you into fear mode. Instead, I’d move forward with my original plans—while working in parallel to reduce tariff costs. Let’s be honest: Trump knows 145% tariffs on China = rising inflation in the US. Hard to believe he’ll let inflation rise to double digits under his name. If this clears up in Q3, it becomes an opportunity—not a crisis. Still, now’s the time to act and save as much as possible on tariffs. After working with hundreds of Amazon Brands, there is 1 strategy that brands miss that can change their business entirely. If you want real growth, you need better priorities. How? Focus on the 80/20 products in your portfolio. Why? It simplifies scaling and accelerates real growth. Let’s assume you have 10 products. Here’s what it looks like: Scenario 1: Spreading attention across all products • Treat all 10 parent ASINs equally • Put 10% of your attention into each product • No deep execution • Average results across the board Scenario 2: Focusing on your 80/20 products • Identify the 1–2 parent ASINs driving most of the profit • Put 40% of your time into each winner • That’s 4x more focus compared to Scenario 1 • Go deeper: better listings, stronger PPC, smarter pricing, higher rankings When you focus deep like that: • You execute at the highest level • You start stacking small wins fast • The flywheel kicks in—and momentum builds The brand in the image below grew profits from ~$16.5K to ~$50K/month in just 4 months. It’s the direct result of focusing on the 80/20 products. Laser focus on the right actions = winning. My recommendation? Find your 80/20 products and go all in. Make a clear plan of everything you can do for those products, and tackle all those projects in 90 days. You’ll be surprised how fast your brand moves.

When people ask me what the best piece of advice I ever got is, that’s what I tell them. 18 months before exiting our brands, my partner and I had a moment that flipped our entire strategy. Back then, we believed that to ever exit our brand, we’d need to build a “real brand.” So we started building: • Hired high end consultants ($21K) • Built a custom Shopify site ($16K) • Spent 50% of our time off Amazon Then, we had one conversation with a great friend that changed everything: 👉 “The single most important thing for your brand’s value is how much profit it generates on Amazon.” Not an email list. Not outside traffic. Not Instagram followers. Just raw profit, on Amazon.
