2. Digital strategy; expanding Intertrust Group's global brand reach via digital marketing activity. Driving sales qualified leads into the pipeline via tactical, data-driven activity
3. Global commercial related projects; working across all areas of the business using the best technology to make financial and non financial efficiency gains, increase revenue and to increase brand professionalism

Following Intertrust’s acquisition of Elian this global role with Intertrust was to lead a highly effective global corporate communications function and team focussed on driving group wide internal engagement, understanding of the strategy and supporting the executive team on effective communication.

In addition to my internal communications role, I lead on: 

• Website development  
• Intertrust’s non-financial PR programme worldwide 
• Correspondence style guide, tone of voice and copywriting 
• New global employer brand project
• A drive to align company culture across acquired businesses

Global Head of Corporate Communications

Develop and lead a highly effective marketing communication function and team focused on designing, creating and implementing effective marketing communications initiatives in support of the ELIAN (previously Ogier Fiduciary Services) Group and individual service line plans and targets.

Key responsibilities include:

•	Lead an effective 'Group marketing and brand' team, driving growth, revenue and market share
•	Ensure a consistent brand and marketing strategy and global brand management for existing businesses
•	Workstream lead to integrate acquired businesses - leading on comms, marketing and brand
•	Lead on the creation and implementation of ELIAN's marketing and brand strategy into new markets
•	Lead on ELIAN's digital strategy across; website, SEO, paid search, email marketing.
•	Creative development of initiatives to launch new services and products
•	Design and roll-out key elements of the ELIAN marketing communications materials including brochures, pitch and proposal templates and online templates
•	Group marketing template management
•	Design and guidance of high end tailored pitch and proposal documents for ELIAN service line teams 
•	Create, design and execute ELIAN advertising plans plus associated media planning and agency management
•	Manage the budgetary aspects of the team responsibilities and report on expenditure and ROI. Focussing on the continual review of team and supplier efficiencies.

Group Marketing Communications & Brand (acquired by Intertrust in June 2016)

Working within the Business Development function for the Ogier Group (Law firm), my role looks after any brand marketing requirements that are required by any of our 11 global offices. I am responsible for our global visual identity and brand awareness efforts, ensuring internal controls and processes are implemented to maintain a consistent brand. I manage the performance of external design agencies to ensure quality standards are maintained and SLA's met. I am also responsible for the successful implementation of the firm's global brand programme. 

During my time at Ogier I assisted with numerous business winning proposals, the highlight was a major win in 2013 for Ogier Corporate Services. I have worked on some of the firm's highest-profile pursuits and have interacted with most Partners and Directors.

Key responsibilities include:

•	Global external and internal brand control
•	Supplier contract negotiation
•	Budget management
•	Media planning/buying/negotiation
•	Social media advertising
•	Provide high-end design/advice for significant client pitches/presentations
•	Creative agency liaison
•	Collateral management including brochures/flyers etc
•	Creation of new branding requirements/projects

This day 13 years ago, I remember the excitement opening the Financial Times and seeing an advert that I had put together. 

It has been great to see the Ogier brand develop over the past 10 years. Yes we may be friendly competitors, but I still have a soft spot for the brand. 

As a marketer, there’s nothing better than seeing the final product and having that sense of pride 

Yes, technology is making the production time and ROI calculations easier. But there’s still so much that happens behind the scenes to get to that point. 

The final output is really the tip of the iceberg.

Leadership is less about the decisions you make. It’s more about the decisions you let others make.

As a self-confessed perfectionist, trust me, letting go isn’t easy, especially when I care so deeply about outcomes.

But... I've learned that trust is the real performance driver.

And when people feel trusted to act, they start thinking differently.

That’s when creativity ignites,  sparks fly, and the dial really gets turned the right way.

I'm starting this week with TONS of gratitude to my amazing team. In just nine months, everyone is thinking differently, challenging standard practice, and pushing for excellence.  I could not be prouder. 

These next four weeks, we'll be showcasing how far we've come as a team, the journey has definitely begun. Exciting times.
